Not so happy with new design update of site

All I had to do before is open KVR and look to the right side of the page, "am I logged in", messages, currents posts... all information right there in one place. Now it's spread all over the page, terrible. Never mind change, as long as it's for the better.
But what can you do. Someone decided it needs to be this way, so this is the way it stays.

Especially was easy to see if I have a PM.
Is there a way to fix this?

Edit: My PM now shows but was easier to see in the previous KVR set up.

KvR is still the slowest site on the web at the moment, has been for weeks. Why?

i think it's fine. i had no trouble getting to where i needed to go. i'm sure i'll get used to it like i got used to the previous changes.

if i decide it's a problem i'll be sure to complain when i send along my monthly kvr payment next month.. oh that's right i don't pay anything to use this site. it's free.

Its free cos companies pay to advertise here. Why? Cos it gets high traffic/potential customers. Turning it into a slow site that looks crap and is a pain to navigate could easily make the numbers drop....sooooo...its wise to take onboard critique and keep the ppl happy....happy ppl spend money

I too have an aversion to tacky, pastel, 1950's clip-art-esque "icons"... that everyone and their (f'ing) MOTHER seems to be going towards. [even adobe acrobat has 'em]

I had hoped it was at best a fad that would die out with the contempt and loathing of windows 8's desire to look (and act) like a cheap cell-phone, and a general resistance to "functionality" being "dumbed-down" to pre-schooler level. but no.

Its def a KvR prob. Its slow in all browsers, my phone and pc, and on quite a few connections.
