That's my first real bug so far...
Can't make it crash here, just menus. Both on the device itself and in the info panel. Could be OS related, as I'm running Win 7, the same as Mr TeoGraphix I believe.
Check.
So it may be Windows 8.1 x64 specific.
I sent a report.

Cheers,

Tom
It's not OS specific, it depends what controllers are currently connected. I could reproduce it and it's already fixed... Thanks for reporting :)

Cant wait for that one!!! :tu:
You mean to reorder them? Doesn't work here.

EDIT: Just reread your question and I just crashed Bitwig, so there is your answer. :)

I was talking about the Device pan, you can't zoom that. :)
That's true... sorry!

I have learned one myself Ctrl + wheel in piano note editor = vertical zoom !

Also Ctrl + Alt + mousewheel expands the grid. I will save the icon for later. :)

Seems as though they have pretty much normalized the double click areas to add things, Mixer has them all now.

Works in 1.1.10 here.
You're right.. I misunderstood Teoti for scrolling the middle mouse button rather than the whole mouse.
You can scroll the middle mouse buttons mouse wheel using Ctrl and Alt modifiers too ;)
Thanks Goatgirl, needed this one.
Edit: Yes, they call it mouse wheel :)

@ goatgirl, you have problems still with min/max in Win7?

The task bar icon no longer min/max Bitwig and double click on header doesn't work, I did report this.

Pressing B opens the browser, and search takes focus immediately, so pressing B again enters a search query instead of closing the browser again. I sometimes open and close the browser quickly to look at a certain folder I got stuff in as reference.
It still works but you need to click IN the browser area to remove focus from the Search input, do this and you can then toggle with B again like you want.

Mike
I guess immediate focus on the search when opening the browser was requested so often that it was finally implemented without offering an alternate way of opening and closing without typing. I tried ALT+B and created CTRL+B in the preferences, but they both don't work either for me.

Well, I guess this count's as a first bug ;-)

Cheers,

Tom
Agreed, you can get in but not out, my first instinct was to hit the ESC key to disengage focus.

EDIT: and likewise, if ESC killed focus, you could just hit B again to toggle/focus. I could see that combo working.

Mike
does the 'Tab' key work?

Mike
Well, the buttons themselves are working for me both functionally and graphically.

I can't double click the header to expand. Though if I move the mouse to the top edge I get a double arrow, which when double clicked will expand the window vertically, but not horizontally. Once expanded I can double click inside the header to shrink.

I guess these are issues due to the fact that the title bar has gone, so Bitwig has to implement these actions instead of relying on windoze. I quite like not having a title bar as we get more real estate. :)

No, it changes perspectives just like it does all the time.

Yes, I get that and what they are doing to create their own title bar region, just curious if your task bar icon works correctly.

I got confused between task bar and title bar. :dog: Clicking the icon doesnt min/max here either.
