Plus the 24 pieces of gear free with current AmpliTube Custom Shop will work in there, and every account has AmpliTube Custom Shop. Sorry to hear you will pass, these are amazing new models and AmpliTube 3 was just on deep discount for under $70 and those models will work in AmpliTube 4.EvilDragon wrote:So yeah, you really get just those 5 Marshalls as a new customer. so, let's say AT4 has speaker X included, and speaker Y in the custom shop. let's say i own a cabinet C that has speakers Y installed by default. does that mean i automatically own speaker Y? or does the cabinet C end up with speaker X installed by default instead?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:If you have gear from AmpliTube Custom Shop / AmpliTube 3 and purchase AmpliTube 4 that gear and cabinets will work in the AmpliTube 4 cab section. You can use all of the new features including swapping speakers where available (cabinets with 12" speakers). I just threw a couple of Greenbacks into an Orange 212, for example.Burillo wrote:Peter, what happens to the old cabinets? can they be used from within AT4 as they are? or do they get "free upgrade" to the latest cab sim tech from AT4? do any of the models get dropped/updated (not only cabs, but amps, fx, stomps...)?
(that of course presumes it is at all possible to purchase speakers individually, as opposed to having them attached to particular cabinets)
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

One click doesn't seem very deep and it is talked about on the main info page too. I will relay your concerns to the team, though.

also, another question. AFAIK, JMP1 is a preamp. can it be paired with a poweramp?

that page is nearly useless... it doesn't matter as much to me, because I already have all the old AT3 collections (and a lot of the custom gear too), but e.g. i know that AT4 has 5 marshalls + cabinets, and an acoustic sim. Does it come with all the old stomps that came with the old AT3? What about the included rack gear in AT3? Does it comes with any of the previously-included AT3 factory amps (including the older 'American Clean', 'Metal T', etc. amps which mostly have better custom shop alternatives now, but also included things like the GK and the THD Flexi, etc?) that page doesn't help at all answering those questions.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:You mean a page like this? http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/am ... at4cs-gear

Yeah, I was interested in amp offerings solely by default. I don't need a looper or an 8-track DAW (I have an actual DAW for that)...

You can mix and match all the speakers available including those in the cabs you already have and which work in AT4. In my example, I swapped out the default speakers from the Orange 212, but I could also swap them into another cabinet if I wanted to.Burillo wrote:so, let's say AT4 has speaker X included, and speaker Y in the custom shop. let's say i own a cabinet C that has speakers Y installed by default. does that mean i automatically own speaker Y? or does the cabinet C end up with speaker X installed by default instead?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:If you have gear from AmpliTube Custom Shop / AmpliTube 3 and purchase AmpliTube 4 that gear and cabinets will work in the AmpliTube 4 cab section. Sorry that the page isn't clear for you, but it does state the following which I thought might be pretty clear but I'll relay that it wasn't for some:chroma wrote:that page is nearly useless... it doesn't matter as much to me, because I already have all the old AT3 collections (and a lot of the custom gear too), but e.g. i know that AT4 has 5 marshalls + cabinets, and an acoustic sim. As a standalone software and DAW plug-in, AmpliTube 4 comes with the gear listed. If you currently own a previous version of AmpliTube, you can use the Custom Shop feature to restore all of your gear from Custom Shop purchases and legacy gear.

sorry, but that's just my impression of it. and it's not just one click. i mean you have to flip through every page of the custom shop list, while always looking for the label "free" - imho that's just not user friendly. if at least there was an option to see/sort all free gear on one page or at least in a row that would be a major improvementPeter - IK Multimedia wrote:One click doesn't seem very deep and it is talked about on the main info page too. It takes up one of the amp slots so you'd have to chain to another full amp it in one of the appropriate routing scenarios which I understand isn't what you are looking for from what I can see. It functions as the unit + power amp basically.Burillo wrote:also, another question. AFAIK, JMP1 is a preamp. can it be paired with a poweramp?

The page itself shows all the gear that you get with AmpliTube 4 with one click, and the gear list at the bottom (which is below the quote I posted in a previous post explaining that is what is included) is a list of what you can add via Custom Shop (which is also clearly pointed out in the text right above the list). Again, I'm sorry this isn't clear to you and I'll let the team know.Sim.Sky wrote:sorry, but that's just my impression of it. and it's not just one click. i mean you have to flip through every page of the custom shop list, while always looking for the label "free" - imho that's just not user friendly. if at least there was an option to see/sort all free gear on one page or at least in a row that would be a major improvementPeter - IK Multimedia wrote:One click doesn't seem very deep and it is talked about on the main info page too. no, i do understand that. i guess what i really should have clarified first is, are all the speaker models available right from the start regardless of what i own? am i even able to purchase speaker models?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:You can mix and match all the speakers available including those in the cabs you already have and which work in AT4. if an answer to the latter is "yes", then what i would like to know is, if a speaker Y is not included in Amplitube 4 but is used as a default speaker on some cabinet, do i get the speaker Y if i own the cabinet C? as in, let's say the Greenback is not included in Amplitube 4 but is installed by default on a Orange 212. so, if i own Orange 212, do i automatically own the Greenback?
