They DO transfer over.
No enhancements on older models it seems (unless you count new cabs in A4 an enhancement, but technically that's a cab improvement, not amp model improvement).

Anything you already own will work in AT4 and you'll get the benefit of the new cab sim features as well.VitaminD wrote:Wait... so the Amplitube 3 collections do not transfer over into Amplitube 4? No SVX, Orange, or any other individual items I bought in the CS over the past many years?
I only use Amplitube for Bass.. and Amp4 doesn't seem to come with much of anything for Bass..
Were any of the older models enhanced at all??

ok phew.. Thanks for clearing that up.
Still wish there was more starter gear.. esp for Bass. It seems sparse as a package.
Would be nice if they included 50-100 GCs to help solidify the collection a bit.. for newcomers.. (not me)

Has the loyalty upgrade been posted yet? I've been checking my email, but I have zilch so far.
Also, does anyone know if that Electric==>Acoustic sim will also be a separate Custom Shop offering? I didn't see it in the "new" stomp section with the other new gear.

You should already see it in your account even if you have not yet received the email. You should have 20 additional JamPoints to use toward AmpliTube 4 in your account since this morning, as you do qualify.BERFAB wrote:Has the loyalty upgrade been posted yet? You will not see the acoustic sim in Custom Shop as it is AmpliTube 4 specific and is included as part of the product.

Wait, what? I own Amp 3, but what will happen exactly if I just upgrade to the CS version? Will all my v3 stuff be there, plus what I have bought in the CS? I didn't get any emails from IK that I know of about this.

On the topic of included gear, please note that another factor is the multitude of users who gave us feedback about there being a lot of gear they don't need, etc, in AmpliTube which led to the Custom Shop approach and really tailored the Collections offered for AmpliTube 3. That said, we are definitely considering additional collections or similar where a new user could have a broad yet well-defined set of "starter" gear (as well as other types of collections to suit different needs of different users).
There was also complaint about cost and that relates to the vast amount of gear included. AmpliTube 3 was $349.99 upon release. Taking advantage of the recent promotions of AmpliTube 3 at $/€69.99 and the $/€99.99 preorder pricing for AmpliTube 4 you would have a huge amount of gear (160+ in AmpliTube 3 alone) at less than half of the original AmpliTube 3 price.
Not to mention that we let this preorder pricing fly during the last week of our Gear Credit promotion where you can get bonus Gear Credits to make it an even sweeter deal.
At this point, the choice of additional gear is up to the user, but we have our eye on it and we're certainly not putting AmpliTube 3 or its gear out to pasture so there's still a vast set of possibilities for the AmpliTube user.

I hear you. So, why not allow the NEW user to tailor their own set of things they would like to have in the basic package for $149? Give them a number of points that would allow them to have, say, 10 amps, 10 stomps, 10 rack effects, 10 of each. Something like that. Why not?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:On the topic of included gear, please note that another factor is the multitude of users who gave us feedback about there being a lot of gear they don't need, etc, in AmpliTube which led to the Custom Shop approach and really tailored the Collections offered for AmpliTube 3. That's cool, I personally use the same Orange amp for nearly everything.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:On the topic of included gear, please note that another factor is the multitude of users who gave us feedback about there being a lot of gear they don't need, etc, in AmpliTube which led to the Custom Shop approach and really tailored the Collections offered for AmpliTube 3.
I'm just curious how this all works for v3 and CS users. How will the v3 gear appear in the v4 CS version? (There will be a free CS version, no?).

They can do that now... Buy the Gear Credit pack (with bonus credits from the promote posted above) and get what you want.EvilDragon wrote:I hear you. You will be able to run your current gear in AmpliTube 4. There is no "CS version" (if you mean a free version) at this time (though AmpliTube 4 does have Custom Shop) so let's take it one step at a time.braj wrote:Wait, what?
