This is good news indeed. Now the 64 biters will be able to join in the fun.

Did anyone else get malware alerts on the links in the sonicprojects e-mail announcement?

The actual URLs associated with the links were different from the links' displayed text.

I.e., "http://www.sonicprojects.ch/userarea/login.html" actually linked to "http://url.snd51.ch/url-609784326-2617914-30092015.html".
A well-behaved signature.

Also, it looks like the 32-bit Win version wasn't updated, if I'm reading things correctly.

I got this warning when trying to install the 64 bit demo:

There's no reason at all it should be going anywhere near my Icons folder. Oh well Sonic Projects joins the ever growing list of developers I don't trust.

Too bad as I was happy to see they finally rid themselves of the Synth Edit restrictions............

Upload to https://www.virustotal.com/ if in doubt. If it comes out with 3-4 positives, it's most likely a false positive, so you can report it as a false positive with your antivirus program.

Finally !

Great News,

Thanks for the info.

If you're talking to me it's not a 'false positive' if the installer tries to access a folder that has nothing to do with it's installation.

Anyway I've deleted the installer and moved on.....no longer interested in anything from Sonic Projects. I just bought DIVA so I'm good. Too many respectable developers like U-HE to bother with wonky devs.......

Just checked out the mac demo....sounds so good :phones:
GUI seems a but glitchy, but I can put up with that.

So is there gonna be a 64 bit version of OP-X for Reaktor also now then? :hyper:

But Ableton does something like that when installing Live, how can they else make regular folders containing Live stuff look like they do without adding a Icon for that?

Installers access all kind of folders on your computer. I think the point was that Bitdefender blocked a "potentially unsafe application" from doing so. As i said, upload to VirusTotal, if it says it's safe, it IS safe. :)

Yay! What a nice surprise, I really thought they were dead in the water, I'm glad I was wrong, this is one of my favorites.

Very cool to see this - I tried the Mac demo, and after installing the AU version, it turned up in none on my hosts.

It turns out this is one of those plugins where the AU version *requires* the VST version to be installed (the manual doesn't mention this) - it just says "we recommend installing all of them".

So if you didn't install the VST version because you want to use the AU, make sure you install the VST version as well.

Mac zip download passes VirusTotal with 0 detections from 56 tests.
