Oh and in case you missed it..........

The actual URLs associated with the links were different from the links' displayed text.

I.e., "http://www.sonicprojects.ch/userarea/login.html" actually linked to "http://url.snd51.ch/url-609784326-2617914-30092015.html".

It works fine here, S1 v3 in Win 7 64.

And that link just opened the user area login window, big freakin' deal. Nothing malicious behind that link. Probably just DNS lagging behind in refreshing the redirects.

The plugin and installer work just fine, no malware here at all. NOD32 FTW.

I haven't got an E-mail from Sonic Projects yet, but this info I found about that domain name in Whois database:

What is suspicious by that?

I alluded to this earlier, but this really deserves something with a beat.

Thanks braj. That's exactly what I'm running here on my work PC. I'll try it tonight on my home PC.

It worked fine for me, no warning popped up

I also got an email saying 'Don't send us any more emails!' so I guess feature requests are out for now ;) One thing I would love (besides them switching back to FXB) would be a global setting for the arp sync, all patches are synced internally, but I nearly always want it synced to the host.

Now that the 64 bit issue is addressed, perhaps they will more easily be able to continue development.

You can still use your host to store FXPs and FXBs, but I do think that it's better to have a single cross-platform compatible format. They also offer a conversion tool so it's not a big problem IMHO.

It is also still a very lightweight plugin resource-wise. OBXD uses more resources idle than it does playing arpeggios.

Yeah, it is just because my host (S1) imports FXB directly, so in the previous version I could load all the 2500 patches into the better S1 browser, now I just have to use the internal browser, which isn't that bad. I'd prefer the old way, but oh well. FR still but definitely doesn't get my goat.

You may have the VST3 version installed, and to test this, I went ahead and installed it myself, see the same issue, presets won't load, and now can't get the VST2 to install, every time I try I get the VST3 version instead, so now I need to figure out what is happening here too. Just make sure you don't use the VST3 with S1! They do warn about this on the install page I do believe.

This is on the installer download page:
Studio One: Only install and use the VST2 version since the patch manager doesn't work in VST3 in Studio One. Studio One only lists the VST2 if the VST3 isn't installed.

Ah, to delete the VST3 version, go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\VST3 and delete the OP-X folder. It also only displays the VST2 version within S1 when there is no VST3 version installed.

Yeah, it's the VST 3 version I am using. Should have read the fine print. :)

Demo dropouts are pretty annoying - far too frequent to allow really getting into it.
