It's been clarified about 50 times in the thread.Klinke1 wrote:That has a reason.SJ_Digriz wrote: So, looks like 450 posts is about the time threads start over?

that isn't confusing to me. It says exactly what you get, plus it says you can use the AT3 stuff you already own. Pretty damn clear. People make it complicated because they are trying to figure out all the upgrade/crossgrade/discount loopholes they can find.Burillo wrote:to be fair, IK reps add to the confusion by referring to free amps as being "included" in Amplitube 4. they're not. they're just free amps that you get even if you don't own Amplitube 4. Amplitube 4 only includes 5 Marshalls and a new cab section (well, there's looper, FX loop and other stuff). that's it.
The point is: He asked if A4 it is all new gear.. and i think the answer "yes" is misleading because:Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Yes and yes. Please visit http://www.ikmultimedia.com/amplitube4 for more information.BERFAB wrote:I did not know this. AT4 is all new gear? Will AT3 gear and presets play through AT4?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: AmpliTube 4 does not contain the gear from AmpliTube 3.
Really? When you install A4.. will there be 4 old amps on your system?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:AmpliTube 4 does not contain the gear from AmpliTube 3.
You are correct that I thought it was pretty clear, but I do understand Burillo's point. I've used Amplitube since v. 1, so I would imagine that it's easier for me to put all this info together.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:When you install AmpliTube 4 without having owned any other AmpliTube product or gear you get exactly what is listed above as included. I can't imagine how this could be made more clear. I don't see BERFAB back asking a followup question and I know he typically would if my answer didn't suffice so I assume he understands.
Now now, I think someone needs a hug!!!!!!!!BERFAB wrote:
Notwithstanding Burillo's apt commentary, I do sense that there is some purposeful nitpicking going on by some. Knock it off. If you don't want it, don't get it. The AT line has a well-deserved reputation for quality. Those of us who are early adopters know this, and we trust that IKM won't screw it up with AT4. And on the off-chance that they DO screw it up, believe me, you WILL hear about it soon enough.
