It seems that IK gave me 20 JamPoints today, but...
AmpliTube 4 149,99 € + 36,00 € (VAT) = 185,99 € - 31 € (JamPoints) = 147,55 €
Thanks, but I'm gonna skip this "offer" for good.

No. They gave me extra(?) 20 JamPoints. They didn't even explained what was that issue with those missing JamPoints.Burillo wrote:IK support was always accomodating for things like these. just wait for support to reply to you, explain the situation and i'm sure you'll get the price you were looking for.
I have to admit that I am pretty pissed that they didn't replied in time or didn't bother to tell me what was that issue with those JamPoints. But I'll survive.
I'm gonna spend my money on FabFilter Pro-Q2 or some hardware (reverb pedal).

And if you were requesting accommodation for the issue based on not having the JamPoints in this time frame, I'm sure they would have or will assist with this issue too. However, I see you've moved on so that is of course another option and your right to do so and I understand. However, support is indeed accommodating and will deal with the timing issue if you so desire.J4R1O wrote:No. They gave me extra(?) 20 JamPoints. Ok, I bit and bought. It takes about 2 minutes of the twirly beach ball when I try to select something other than the default patch. A3 is practically instantaneous. Also, some of my 'legacy' patches didn't show up, and so I had to do a little manipulating in the necessary folders.

Is that what it is labelled? Where do I find that function?b15fliptop wrote:If you didn't use the "import legacy presets" function, that may explain why you're getting the beach ball. Just a guess.

I did. I think. Also, the spinning beachball occurs just by clicking on the default patch to change it, not necessarily to go to legacy patches.b15fliptop wrote:If you didn't use the "import legacy presets" function, that may explain why you're getting the beach ball. Just a guess.
And 4.01 did sfa.

I thought that it's too late to buy AT4 for 99,99. And yes, I did mention my concern about the ending of the introductory price getting close but they didn't react to that, for some reason.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:And if you were requesting accommodation for the issue based on not having the JamPoints in this time frame, I'm sure they would have or will assist with this issue too. I haven't spend my money yet, but I'm not good at begging plugin developer's support to give some price cut and explain my situation once again. Yes, I got those JamPoints and I thank you and IK Support for that but now they're kinda "useless".

It's in the dropdown menu where the current preset name is listed, just to the left of the Preset Browser button.BERFAB wrote:Is that what it is labelled? Well, I'm trying the Amplitube 4 CS and it kills my DAWs easily (Ableton and Mainstage).

Blunt force trauma with a mic stand? Crushed by a speaker cabinet? Has the CSI unit arrived yet?waltercruz wrote:Well, I'm trying the Amplitube 4 CS and it kills my DAWs easily (Ableton and Mainstage).
Also, have you reported the issue to support? Or do you mean it kills the included amp sims in those DAWs (which I wouldn't find surprising, of course)?
