I started writing a track yesterday for the contest. I tried to write something slightly original and now with Midiguitar I can control Synthmaster much easier.

I have a question though. Can we submit more than 1 song? Thanks for the generous contest.

Do you still have to set the latency of your ASIO drivers to a specific amount in order to get Synthmaster to work? I always found that very irritating, seeing as none of my other (20+) commercial VSTs require it.

Interesting contest :hyper:

But what about a public soundcloud group for free listening to the song contest entries, too?

Post

Okay, I'm done. Would it be okay for me to upload this to my Soundcloud page so people can hear it or do I have to wait until the 15th when I send you the files?

Sure, feel free!

Okay, here it is. I was going to do mainstream pop but decided to do something off the beaten track in the form of a rhapsody.

I'll go back and edit in all the track details later. Right now I just included the lyrics.

I've updated the track and FX information. I don't think I'm missing anything but I'll check the initial post to see.

Since it is Synthmaster, which I love so much, I just had to join. I spent a few hours making this track. I normally work with EDM so this track is quite unusual for me. I wanted to try new stuff with Synthmaster and drag it back to the 80's pop era. I had Duran Duran in my mind when making this track. I hope you like it.

Hmm..just saw that the song should be sent 15th to 30th of November. Well, I will leave tomorrow and travel to Philippines for 3 weeks so I guess next time then :ud:

Since the song is finished I am sure you can work something out where you can submit early.

Thanks! :) I always make EDM otherwise and decided I would try something else, just for fun. I am sure you will come up with something amazing. Best of luck! :phones:
