I think u-he's next plugin should be Zebra 3
U-He already covers alot of ground in the most common synthesis and effects

LOL. If "yes, we might do a compressor one day" is a broken promise, and if that makes 149$ for 9 outstanding plug-ins a bad deal, get outta here.antithesist wrote:Look at when uhbik came out, promised additions (it was touted as joining a fun club with more to come, etc.), when and how few updates there have been, and that one was broken (not even fixed for years).
Also, please enlighten me about something "broken (not even fixed for years)". We currently have no outstanding bug reports for any Uhbik.

You did.antithesist wrote:So, I do like to get what we paid/pay for
There was never - I repeat: Never! - a single post where I suggested that we *would like to* do something where I have not explicitely said to not base a purchase decision on any such statement.
Other than that, I really don't know what you're talking about. Even the premature prospect of Uhbik-X on our website was accompanyied by something like "not a promise - this is what we'd love to do if we ever find the time to do this".
I seriously refuse to take this kind of rubbish on that your posting, after having explained myself many times many years ago. It's done. Sell it if it's such a disappointment, but leave me alone for wanting it both ways (i.e. listen to me but not listening to what I wrote).
Further posting of this kind of vile bullshittery will be met with one single thing: Deletion.

Agreed.. I wish the whole kvr community had the same attitude about Lennard and Sylenth not go on a whole witch bitch hunt about a Synth that was made complete for its time... because I own a motif es 7 does not entitle me to bitch about the features that is "missing" in my synth that is now in the newer models... you buy and pay for what it is and not for the promise for what it should evolve into... eg Hive, I want to by Hive for what it is right now... no I won't sell Sylenth for Hive because it is a differant Synth with differant strengths.. and no Hive wont be my next goto Trance Synth but it will be used as a more general polysynthV0RT3X wrote:From what i understand, it works like this.
When we buy a plugin, we buy the right to use it as it is. The developer doesn't really owe you anything in the future.
They might suggest future updates, but that shouldn't be set in stone as this is software after all and things can rapidly change.
So when you pay, you aren't paying for the right to demand anything from the developer. You get what you pay for, yes bug fixes are usually the accepted norm if you can't use the software as intended and most devs don't leave their users in the dark for obvious reasons.
I am not a "fanboy" but a happy user who is more than happy to own and use the working u-he products i have already.
I might not be some big working "professional" but if you are a working professional then why complain ? Vote with your wallet then and buy stuff that works for you. There are lots of options out there..

If you've ever spend some time creating drums with Bazille (I bet it's the same with Zebra but don't own it), you're most likely to think that a U-He sort of MachineDrum would absolutely be phenomenal. At least, I do. I'd pay big money for a such U-He synth, fine-tuned and laid-out for all kinds of percussions. A U-He x0x would be great as well (but maybe not as exciting to me).

I think there is space for a drum machine. Something with good sound design options that go beyond . I wouldnt care for a sequencer since i prefer to do it in the DAW and Push.

I think eveyrone has theyr own needs
I for example would prefer deep and advanced Izotope Trash 2 like distortion effect (because heavy distortion is what i use alot) a multieffect kinda like Dblue
For me Uhe what have released now simply covers most of my needs

Yeah, I agree actually, even though I would like to see Zebra 3 above all else first.nilhartman wrote:If you've ever spend some time creating drums with Bazille (I bet it's the same with Zebra but don't own it), you're most likely to think that a U-He sort of MachineDrum would absolutely be phenomenal. But I really like creating drums with Zebra and Bazille, more so with the former, often with its lovely comb filters somewhere in the patch.

Trigger Warning : broad, sweeping statements, strong language and Devil's advocacy.
My only advice(s)s would be : beware of scattering.
You don't have the commercial backbone nor the cashflow of say, NI.
Focus on what sells, and for the rest, take a listen now and then to feature request but do not rely on it, trust your imagination, for it's what gave you the reputation you enjoy now.
And also, F*ck maintenance
Just go with the perpetual beta policy and allow new ideas to flourish !
