Anyway, stepping aside from the bitching for a moment I actually have a practical question; I've imported all my legacy presets into the main preset menu, but is it possible to import legacy model presets into their respective menus (cab and mic presets etc)?

€150 seems a little steep just to enable those features.... The point is most of the value in new version is in the new amps and many of us don't want or need 5 new marshall sims.
For €150 it's actually cheaper to move to a different sim like Revalver or S-Gear.
Then move to a different sim.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

150€ + VAT
Optimal number of audio plugins is one more than you currently have.

Yea wish they had provided Amplitube 4 for a smaller upgrade price without the new marshals and effects. Then I could add those as money becomes available or if I need them. I've got to replace my graphics card end of the month so will see how much I have left and if I get any sales.

That's AT4 CS, isn't it? Then you can Restore your AT3 gear into AT4 CS and get new gear as you want.

The intro price was $99 and anyone with Jam Points could have saved up to $30 more. It cost me $70 to upgrade as a result. If someone has $50 or more in Jam Points, you can take a total of $50 off the standard $150 price. So cheaper upgrade options were and still are available. Plus, Black Friday is two weeks away, so there will probably be another sale if you can wait.

But Amplitube Marshall was the only missing collection and they made it less money by combining it with AT4.

I missed the Intro price by 3 days and I have 10 jampoints. The only pack I bought for CS version was Slash and I added lots individually since then. I'm not complaining I'm just saying what would be better. Amplitube 4 is easily worth the full price.

186 euros (150 + VAT)? Well, I guess that's a matter of opinion...

Here's my AT4 upgrade story:

I logged into my IK account three days before the introductory price was about to expire only to find out that there was 11 JamPoints (Bonus Points) on my account instead of 20 they should have gave me. I raised a ticket and told them that the introductory price is about to expire on next monday. Ok, they gave me 20 JamPoints... on tuesday. :dog:

Peter told me that I should contact IK support again and I did but got no reply. Peter PM even promised me that he will contact IK support and check out my ticket.

Guess what? I'm still waiting IK support (or Peter) to contact me...

Which department did you direct the ticket to?

I was thinking about buying the Mesa+AT4 combo, but already owned the Mk.IV. I opened a ticket asking them if they'd refund me the credits on the Mk.IV if I purchased the combo, and they did. Got back to me within a few hours.

In total, it cost me $150 US for the combo. 200 Gear credits ($160) minus 10 jampoints I had = $150. And I have the extra 35 credits in my account now. Remember that they have a built-in discount on gear credit purchases above 100.

Of course, if you only want AT4, then it's more problematic for you.

When I change the dial on one of them (gain or boost) it changes the other one to match. In other words, gain and boost are locked together at the same settings. I don't think it's supposed to work that way. I could be wrong though.
Well, I reported this as a bug and support wrote back that there is no problem. So that's left me wondering why the right side gain/boost has a pull knob...Since it doesn't do anything when you pull it. There is really only one setting, so why is there a pull knob at all?

Until they release a full manual, it is kind of hard to determine what the spec is. That behavior seemed weird to me too, though. Never played on a real TA-30, so I can't comment there...

There were some unexpected issues with the manual for some reason but it should be out soon, I expected it already so I'll ping the team again about it.

I'm sorry, but what reason is there to limit the upgrade price time-wise? I've been a long fan of Amplitube, but it's not the only player on amp-sim market anymore and with this price policy I'm starting to look elsewhere. 180€ including VAT is too much for such an upgrade no matter how soon or late you go for it after release.
