I'm also still interested in an answer to this. Has a decision been made one way or the other?zxant wrote:

There's demo's of both WaveMapper and WaveGenerator so I am still hopeful.

I would say that the problem of losing resources / presets is something I struggled with on WaveMapper2. I get your point that settings are saved when you close the project but I tend to create presets within a specific project and then use the presets elsewhere. Even so I've still lost/ overwritten a number of resources and presets when working within a dedicated patchbuilder project in Cubase Pro 8.
I've used a fair number of VSTs over the last 10 years or so but Wavemapper2 keeps tripping me up. I have other VSTs that create new resources like Alchemy and Serum but don't encounter the same problems.
All the PPG products are fantastic sonically, technically and musically, totally inspiring to go and create your own sounds - it seems a shame that the patch save issues sometimes make me reach for other tools simply because I don't need to have to worry that I might lose the sound I'm working on.
Cantabile is my Vst "sketchpad" for the very reason that it incorporates a 'sequential save' feature, even in the "solo" version.pdxindy wrote:+1ChamomileShark wrote:I've yet to get Phonem, it's on my Christmas list.

I'm loving Phonem... except saving... totally unintuitive and easy to lose work
I often open a project just to create sounds for later... That project is just a work space. I want an easy to make a sound, hit save as once and move on...
