The new thing will be a freebee. Check this place from Monday. If all goes well...
It sounds like it will be a Merry Christmas.
Let me say in advance,"Just what I always wanted (even though I didn't know it). Many thanks!"

Indeed no, i, for one, am always very interesting in new and creative sympathetic resonances like in MFM2, Dronebox or OhmygodUrs wrote:But.. but... comb filters is exactly what it is, isn't it? - Just not necessarily instrument bodiesEvilDragon wrote:Zebra already has comb filters.

You mean comb filters = physical modeling? Well, to an extent. That's Karplus-Strong. There are other ways to do physmod, but you already know all that - modal synthesis, waveguides, purely calculating differential equations in realtime, or whatnot...Urs wrote:But.. but... comb filters is exactly what it is, isn't it? - Just not necessarily instrument bodiesEvilDragon wrote:Zebra already has comb filters.

Out of curiosity, would it be some articles that details the different technologies potentially involved in physical modeling ?EvilDragon wrote:You mean comb filters = physical modeling? also among the instruments from the current market, known to be based on physical modeling ( all applied-acoustics or almost, Reaktor Steampipe and Prizm, Moddart Pianoteq and addons, etc..,eventually hybrid techniques like Truepiano or Samplemodeling products, etc, etc...), what are the ones involved in one case or another ?
...never mind, though, i assume it deserves a topic in itself !
