Thank you so much for the everything upgrade bundle. That's really a big prize for me. I did not expect the other soundbank to be so good (that's why i shouldn't judge it on soundcloud demo alone).

This is off the first page of the contest rules.

1st place: $300 cash + SynthMaster Everything Bundle Upgrade license
2nd place: $250 cash + SynthMaster Everything Bundle Upgrade license
3rd place: $200 cash + SynthMaster Everything Bundle Upgrade license
4th place: $150 cash + 10 preset bank licenses
5th place: $100 cash + 10 preset bank licenses
6th-10th places: 10 preset bank licenses
Others: will receive 2 preset banks for free

So far at least 4 people have reported Everything Bundle Upgrades.

So I'm assuming they've changed the prize payout distribution. I'm asking because the money prizes would come in very handy right now and I was under the assumption that with the Everything Bundle I would be getting one of them. This however appears to not be the case. So some kind of confirmation of any changes would really be great. Sitting on pins and needles here wondering where I actually did finish.

I guess Bulent was just being generous and donated a couple of Everything Bundle upgrades extra. Well, "just" - considering the usual price of the bundle I have to say it's a hell of a contest already!

The rank is determined based on:

60% judge voting
30% soundcloud likes
10% number of synthmaster instances used (we had to introduce this because a song that uses 30 instances requires more effort than a song with 3 instances)

I believe that the above 60/30/10 split is as fair as it gets and we'll hopefuly stick to it in the next contests.
