Aliasing in synths. How to prevent it?

Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

It should prevent aliasing if it filters out all frequencies above half of project sampling rate, but only before the conversion to the sampling rate from whatever multiple rate the synthesizer works internally at.
It won't remove anything if the aliasing is already there.

Sort of like how adding white paint to black won't make white.
Sort of... in that the analogy is a bit flawed. It's more like having white paint mixed with glitter. Pouring out half your white + glitter doesn't make the remaining white any more pure.
