Heres my play, I got try try amplitube a couple of days ago.
This is a Day Of The Eagle cover, I used the SLO-100 with the double 57 mic and laid down two tracks. Thumbsup for the room mics, although I didnt use them for this track, they felt great to play through and audition cabinets. I liked the cab system, was fun to play with, The ultratuner as well.
Forgive me for having 1 post
but ive lurked around here for quite some time.
Lead is at 3:00 if you get impatient, theres no vocals and just rhythms / backings here.

Sounds good, man. Slo's chewy crunch is nice for flailing some lead! Heavy bass growl, too, was that an Amplitube recording as well?
I'm working on some Amplitube 4 (... era) content right now for my blog, first time updating my blog in a while and I've been a little vexed by having to replace odds and ends in the recording chain that died in storage - it does not pay to take a break from playing and recording for any length of time! But my old StompIO is hanging in there like a champ, and I even have an old StealthPedal that's going strong too. Two Rig Kontrols dead in this time period. Wish I had a newer driver for the StompIO, but it's been discontinued for ages so that's probably wishing too much.
I'm having a lot of fun making patches with the new cab room. I've been using Amplitube long enough at this point that some of my favorite amps from older packages are showing their age, but some aren't; I still like the 5150 model from back in the day for example, but in any case where there's a more recent attempt or package with the same kind of amp model as older stuff, the newer models (as you'd expect) win easily.
It would be really cool to see some of the other older packages get a Jimi Hendrix-like update, or even a fuller one. I'd pay for a version 2 on the Metal pack, without the Mesa models since that's covered now but with say some of the modern crop of high-gainers (love a Diezel, Bogner, maybe something for sludge tones, Ampeg V4 maybe?). Would give you guys an opportunity to revisit the pedals, too - I'm kitted out from the custom shop but I still have to go back to AT:Metal and AT:Jimi Hendrix for many OD and Fuzz options (especially since I sold darn near all my pedals and rely more on a digital signal chain now). Would be nice to get an updated Vox model somewheres as well. (And maybe a Two Rocks, or a Bad Cat, or... ok I'll stop!)

Thanks for the kind words from you both, as well as a few suggestions from Mr. Agreed
For those that don't know, if you are in the market for a mobile audio interface you can also get AmpliTube 4 Deluxe free if you purchase and register an iRig Pro Duo, an iRig Pro, an iRig HD, an iRig HD-A or iRig UA: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/news.php?id=686

Those do look pretty neat. I'd have a use for the Single, maybe the Duo, but not trying to spend $200 more on recording stuff right now. Maybe in a month or so. Have no qualms buying IK hardware at the moment, your stuff holds up.
We need an Emperor 4x12 cab model right now, by the way. Right now. There is no time to see if it's ok to do it, just capture the nearest expert on this sort of thing and go find the cab and take the impulse. It's time. Don't ask questions, make the tone happen.
And whatever happened to the Randall fan at IKMM? I still like the Warhead model, would love to see maybe the classic RG100 (not the thing they've been calling that more recently, the original transistorized vaguely JCM800ish one)...
I could make an amp wishlist a mile long. Though in truth I think we could use some updated "staple" amps for a new pack. Call it Amplitube Classics, and it's a damn good 1960s AC30, great JTM45 or whatnot, 1960s Twin model, something for metal (new 5150? just said I like it, I know, but I'd like a new one even more - the newer ones feature a vastly improved clean channel and it has some utility in metal recording IMO, along of course w/ the insane gain factor on its leads), and comes with new pedal models of the staples that have been used forever. (Yeah, a new TS, a new OD-1, new pedals in general because you've got a lot better at that over the years - there's a lot of difference between the sound of the old AT2 dirts and the newer Custom Shop dirts!!)

Thanks for the nice comments on the hardware. We also had a great price reduction on iRig HD (and iRig PRO) along with a 96kHz update that makes iRig HD a great deal (~$50 cheaper) compared to similar mobile interfaces that support 96k (which iRig PRO also supports and these are two of my favorite products we make - especially since iRig HD is really pocket-sized).
Thanks for the Emperor suggestion. I know we do things that are non-official, so that's not an issue. Of course the cabs are a combination of modeling and IR so it isn't as simple a process as described but still in our wheelhouse as they say.
Good question about Randall. I will see what's up, I had mentioned a couple of models that I thought we should model a while back too. Definitely great amps.
Whew, you do have a lot of suggestions and that's great so I'll pass them along and say "welcome back" too

That's getting dangerously close to no-brainer territory. The HD-A comes withPeter - IK Multimedia wrote:Thanks for the kind words from you both, as well as a few suggestions from Mr. Agreed

Amplitube Metal, so combined with Amplitube 4 Deluxe, one might justify
