I'll first wait for your double-check. Then if you're sure there is something wrong please tell me which type of colors you're talking about. Thx.

There is a new M7.0.3 in http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/
What's changed: Fixed a UI bug in the Sample Player editor.
How to update:
OSX: Replace the existing M7 MuLab.app file by the new version in the small zip file.
Windows: Replace the existing M7 MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files by the new versions in the small zip file.

I spent a few hours to explore all the new features I made some really extreme test with modulations also using vst as the source and mulab works perfectly!
Also tested backward compatibility with different projects and everything seems to work fine
the only thing I've found is that with some vst not work the mouse wheel
and compared to the M6, that the oscillators do not work if you do not connect to a event input.
the only problem I encountered was with the ring modulator module ,even when it is turned off bypasses one of the inputs.

Don't punish me with a shitstorm - I just don't understand, for what reason I should need a step-sequencer within a DAW? OK, I understand in stage-equipment. But within a DAW I can record any sequence in piano-roll-editor with much more comfort and flexibility. Why is that feature so important to you?
I only had a very rough look at M7. Looks good, some useful features are new, starting with the rewind button. But what I waited most for, is the "info-track" to note chords. That way I could see what should happen at the timeline. And unfortunately this (important!) feature is still missing.

Thanks for your feedback Taifunk!Taifunk wrote:I spent a few hours to explore all the new features I made some really extreme test with modulations also using vst as the source and mulab works perfectly!

Indeed, when used within a PolySynth. But that should be no problem. Right?the oscillators do not work if you do not connect to a event input.
Switching off a module tries to make it transparant ie it bypasses signals rather than muting signals. Same behavior as in M6.the only problem I encountered was with the ring modulator module ,even when it is turned off bypasses one of the inputs.

There are indeed several aspects that have increased the sound quality of the MUX modular sound engine.runaudio wrote:is it just me or does M7 sound better

On the announce web page, the following is mentioned (near the bottom) "M7 features an extended sonic palette & even better sound quality thanks to enhanced algorithms".runaudio wrote:is it just me or does M7 sound better

Strangely, colours are copy/pasting fine into the Osc Waveform Display now, with transparency, weird!mutools wrote:I'll first wait for your double-check. Then if you're sure there is something wrong please tell me which type of colors you're talking about. Thx.
I am still unable to understand how transparency affects this component if it has no ability to edit it?

Not that I'd know how, but I'm assuming you could use the Step Seq to alter FX too. Can't do that on Piano Roll! Step Sequenced Filter, Distortion, Reverb even!nenneb wrote:Don't punish me with a shitstorm - I just don't understand, for what reason I should need a step-sequencer within a DAW? My apologies if this has already been answered.
Is there a Mulab 6 to 7 upgrade grace period? If I buy version 6 now would I get a free upgrade to 7 or would have to pay the standard upgrade fee?
Thank you.
