What's the dirtiest, darkest, grindiest synth out there?

I've got Ominsphere, Sylenth and Alchemy and they are all brilliant in their own way, however I really want dark, distorted leads, mean warped grindy s**t.
Is there a synth out there that does that, or is it matter of using what I have and putting it through distortion plugins, filters etc.
Thanks in advance

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Oh sheeeat I like the sound of this!!! Downloading the demo now - thanks man

By the way is this more hardware synth territory? The reason I say this is that years ago I had the Novation Supernova and I've never been able to match the sounds out of that.

Humanoid's Scanned Synth Pro or Enzyme. It's a tough job trying to get sounds out of either of them that aren't grindy. (http://www.humanoidsoundsystems.com)
There is also Mr Alias 2 or Mr Alias Pro (http://www.thepiz.org/plugins/?p=Mr.%20Alias%202) for aliasing sonic destruction. It does crazy, super-warped sounds and is even more unpredictable than Enzyme when it comes to sound design.
I don't think Mr PIz has been seen around for some time (I hope he's OK), but the software still seems to work.

Effects to dirty it up would include any guitar amp sim but even better I would suggest
Izotope Trash2 and Vinyl
Along the synth line, the nastiest I've run across have been:
Scanned Synth Pro:
http://www.humanoidsoundsystems.com/sca ... th-plugin/
And HGFortune SwampXT/UltraSwamp (32 bit only and can be either hard to find or even imposible).

I am unaware about how dirty the Supernova itself can be, but distortion / waveshaping together with some resonance paired with the synths you already have should do the trick, so I fully agree with resistent here and would suggest you get the distortion unit of your choice and go wild with that

I'd definitely recommend u-he's Bazille for those kinds of sounds. Lots of sound mangling potential there.

I'd be interested to hear a dozen audio examples from a dozen different people of a sound that fits the title description. I'm curious how much difference there would be.
