Lacking proper math & analytic skills, I had to do most of the work based on empirical tuning. While this is still the case to some extent, I've gotten rid of some bad habits and preferably can do stuff much better, and in lesser time.
Is original source code belong to you or any other company (uhe, magix, etc)?
Murderous duck!

Your question is answered on the Fish Fillets website.
Fish Fillets website wrote:In 2003, as I started working for the DSP team at Magix, I decided to give up the freeware work and sold them the exclusive rights for the code of all digitalfishphones plugins that had piled up. Some of the work evolved in the form of new products, at least a couple of ideas were transfered along the way.
Of course, I have no insight into what pieces of FF code actually went into the Magix plugins, but the above quote to me sounds a lot like "the Magix plugins are Fish Fillets Pro". 8)

ignoring the sound (which i find pretty good) - those old plugins really shine in their simple UIs.

you can throw a plugin on and have it 90% of the way there very very quickly.

presswerk sounds wonderful but there's an extra couple of clicks or so to get to the easy compressor view, and even then it's still not as immediate as blockfish. it'd be great to close the gap there a little bit more, maybe by having a setting to start up in a particular view or something.

So you're telling us that an easy-view/mode can't be saved into a patch and that patch can't be set to load as default?

So add a 1176/1178 style compressor (and maybe throw a 546 Parametric Equalizer, too) ...
then just change the name of the whole bundle to "Uhree" :hyper:

:D
Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

That could be actually be a good idea. From the marketing POV, at least, I'm certain it would succeed.
