I see, thx for reporting this, will fix this in the next version.pquenin wrote:Hmm, I want to report a bug : I add a rewire module (Reason Essential) in Mulab, Reason Essential shows up : OK. Then I delete the rewire module in Mulab : OK. Reason Essential is still open. Now I want to add the Reason Essential rewire module again in Mulab, because it was a mistake : it's impossible, Reason Essential is greyed. Maybe this is because Reason Essential has not been closed. But if I close RE, it's still unavailable in Mulab. I don't know how the Rewire protocol works, but can the rewire app stay available in Mulab if it was available when the session was opened, when we remove the module ?

Thx.
Note that shortly after i posted about the M7.0.19 update, i noticed something wrong wrt a new color preference function i added. I've already removed the relevant item from the "What's changed" list so it doesn't hurt atm. It will be fixed in M7.0.20 as well as the ReWire issue pquenin reported. So there will be another update (M7.0.20) very soon.

There is a new M7.0.20 in http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/
What's changed:
Make sure you already have installed the complete M7.0.12 package. Then:
OSX: Replace the existing M7 MuLab.app file by the new version in the small zip file.
Windows: Replace the existing M7 MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files by the new versions in the small zip file.
What's changed:
- Upon first run after new installation, MuLab now shows a "Choose Initial Main Color" dialog.
This allows the user to choose a color he likes, instead of the default M6 "Funky Gold" one.
You can test this "Choose Initial Main Color" dialog by entering "test" in the command line. (needs a shortcut to the "Command Line" function)
Note that a new temporary generic project is opened so to have a relevant impression about the color preferencing.
Your current color setup is automatically backed up during this test. After clicking OK when done, the question "Keep" - "Revert" is only part of this test function, it does not appear on first run of course. - The very default main color (aka "Top Color") has changed from the M6 funky gold one to a bright blue.
- Deleting a ReWire module is reverted to a non-undoable (and thus with a "Are you sure?" alert) action so to make sure the ReWire module is really freed.
- Fixed a coloring issue in the browser list.
Make sure you already have installed the complete M7.0.12 package. Then:
OSX: Replace the existing M7 MuLab.app file by the new version in the small zip file.
Windows: Replace the existing M7 MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files by the new versions in the small zip file.

As always, if someone notices something wrong or odd or missing in the docs, pls let me know, i'll improve them where necessary. Note however that the docs are regarded as a kind of wiki where all necessary info is collected. The docs are not meant to include step-by-step guides aka tutorials for all kinds of use cases. That's rather to be covered by the tutorial videos on MuTools's YT channel. I'll create new videos soon.

There is a new M7.0.21 in http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/
What's changed: It's all about the step sequencer:
Make sure you already have installed the complete M7.0.12 package. Then:
OSX: Replace the existing M7 MuLab.app file by the new version in the small zip file.
Windows: Replace the existing M7 MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files by the new versions in the small zip file.
What's changed: It's all about the step sequencer:
- Minimum velocity is 1, and now consistent for both mouse-wheel and click-dragging editing.
- Added a temporary fix to auto select the first pattern if necessary.
- Step LEDs that are on beat now have a subtle coloring.
- Note Lane definition: Time Offset and Gate Length parameters can go much higher now, up to 32 steps = up to 3200% of a single step length.
- When editing lane definitions, changes are now effective almost instantly. (previously it was only effective after clicking OK)
- When steps have a time offset which makes them go outside the loop, they were not hearable. Fixed.
- The effective length of note steps is always limitted to the loop length so to avoid stacking notes after each loop.
Make sure you already have installed the complete M7.0.12 package. Then:
OSX: Replace the existing M7 MuLab.app file by the new version in the small zip file.
Windows: Replace the existing M7 MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files by the new versions in the small zip file.

Spot the difference:

This is Taifunk's test patch from another thread.
On the left, OSC 1 displays the name of the waveform when the patch loads.
On the right, OSC 1 now displays "Waveform" (the "disassociated name") for the waveform, as if I've done something to change it. All I actually did was click the waveform image itself. I didn't expect that to be considered an "edit" to the wave.
This is with M7.0.21.

Yes clicking in the waveform draws the waveform. I'll finetune it further that if there is no real edit ie. you didn't drag=draw anything, then there is no change. Thx.
