You can just paste the text here probably
. The new versions fix potential newlines and other problems.

I'll paste the preset in the below post. The present is for MAutoDynamicEq.
I use Mod_1 to modulate a MultiParm called Refinement. Mod_1 is a follower that adjusts based on the input signal level. Refinement adjusts the Gain and Q for EQ Band 4.
If you want to adjust the static EQ Gain for Band 4, then go into Mod_1 and adjust the parameter called "Value".
If you turn off Mod_1, you can adjust Refinement directly (you'll see that the Q changes based on the Gain value).
Don't adjust the Gain or Q for Band 4 directly (it might not let you, depending on whether Mod_1 is on or off), but you can change the other parameters for Band 4 as you see fit. The center frequency is based on bx refinement, but it is odd to me that bx does not allow this to be changed by the user (the center frequency of the "harsh" band will likely be influenced by the whatever has been recorded...).
EQ Band 7 is a simple high-cut based on the bx plugin, but I personally don't like the way it sounds!
If you want saturation (as in bx refinement), you can use the Soft Saturation in MADEq or another plugin.
Enjoy!

Yup, it is just one really long line. Copy that line into your computer's buffer, then open MADEq and click paste in the "A through H" area on the right. If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas, hopefully others can help.steve2KVR wrote:...using mac/chrome a dbl click just gives me a hi-light of the single line...no clue...?.../s~

Yes, that is it. Open the "Meters and Subsystems" panel to see more.moonmadness wrote:is that it???
Download the bx plugin owner's manual and look at the features. I've listed them below and explain the corresponding elements in MADEq.
The "Damping" control in bx is equivalent to the static gain reduction of MADEq band 4. I think my Q values are based on the "Soft" setting in bx, but I'm not 100% sure (I'm going from memory).
The "Saturation" in bx can be achieved by any one of a variety of saturation plugins. Pick the one you like and add it to your chain.
The "Presence" control in bx is equivalent to MADEq band 7. More or less...
If you want mid/side, then set up MADEq appropriately.
The "Damping Modulation" control in bx is equivalent to the multiparameter and modulator setup in MADEq (tweak as desired). This is a dynamic EQ, with the additional feature that the Q of the peak filter is not constant, but rather is a function of gain reduction (you can see the custom mapping I created if you dig into MADEq). I made this by putting the bx plugin demo through an analyzer to see what it was doing, then approximated in MADEq. It is not exact, but it is in the ballpark.
I did not bother with the "Oscillation" feature in bx. Feel free to improve my preset by adding this feature.
Oh yeah, the bx plugin has a special secret sauce to make it sound excellent: the Tube Graphic that glows red!
