Also when you look at Pultec, please don't forget it's amazing counterpart the pultec midrange eq, as they work perfectly together. Here are some emulations:

While I see how you could probably make some money from it (and I wish you all the best!) I must say that the main reason I bought some of the products is that they are truly unique and you can either do things you cannot do with other tools, or the gui supports you in a way that makes it easier to get there.

More vintage eqs on this highly saturated market (pun intended :D ) just bore me.
SOUND!

For straight simple technical equing without coloration the best (cpu wise) are your stock daw plugins and the same goes for the rest like compression. They were build for it so to say and therefor should work best cpu-wise.

So imo 3rd party make only sense when it bring something different/new to the table be it soundwise or workflow or something you can't reach with the stock plugins.

I agree that a MTurboEQ would be interesting.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

I think an accurate eq emu would not that simple. But a nice feature would be the possibility to mix all the frequencies of different eqs in one eq. E.g. highs from 1073, mids from Pultec and so on. I know, also this already exist, Waves Heq, but also a CPU hog and really harsh sounding.
Spencerlee also shows it in his "UberEq" preset. How can I get and try it? You said preset Exchange is not possible?!
All this with dynamic features could be also interesting.

Oh you mean something like this...

If MTurboEQ is well thought out as MTurboComp it's not going to be just another EQ. It will bring something new.

Spencerlee, that looks really interesting.
I'm curious if Vojtech will realise it.

It is one third of my Channel Strip. I could post a picture here but it would probably scare the shit out of you. I have been working on it for 6 months and testing it on mixes.

Could be interesting for mturbomix. I don't know Vojtech plans about this plugin beast?!

Well, we could theoretically do that. It's actually far easier than simulating compressors, that's why I didn't want to do it. It's more like specialized settings for say MAutoDynamicEq (not even dynamic). So the question is whether it is needed. I quite despise the companies trying to sell you neverending EQ sims, that are just repeats of the same thing all over again...just to take money from you... it's just wrong...
Yes Vojtech, as you mention, please add this to MAutoDynamicEQ instead of making another EQ. People do complain about overlapping plugins and it would be convenient to have these features in the same plugin rather than having to switch between many different plugins. There's already so many different compressors now. That's great but couldn't some of them be joined?

Oh I see you already discussed this... :)

The 1073 I bought and felt in love with is the one from Sonimus, great emu, I think it's a real challenge to get that sound with all the frequency behaviour of Mic and Line Level and also the distortion. Lot of work for Vojtech if it will happen.

yes and EQ isn't always just EQ.
I once compared the stock console channelstrip EQ in Cubase with the Duende Channelstrip EQ.
A difference of day and night.
When using the Cubase EQ and tweaked - the results were okay, well what one expects from a EQ.
But when tweaking the duende it sounded musical and even pushed to the limits it didn't loose anything of that quality sound. The eq sounded like an instrument itself and was fun to use.
I wasn't even halfway through to the limits with the cubase one and the sound just fell apart - wasn't usable/was very ugly. I never touched that one again. Most stock EQs are ...soso.
The StudioOne stock EQs are okay - and come really close to duende. But they can't be adjusted as fine (knobresolution) as the duende. But they cover a far broader range and can really get harsh. A bit of both worlds would be perfect.
