Now we have Trillian, which is a very good and versatile bass instrument, I guess Keyscape will be the same.
Spectrasonics rumors...

Exactly, pricey one that will attract the ones who are really into it, as much as I were always into bass-es, Trilian were out of question, guess this will happen now too.Utada wrote:Now we have Trillian, which is a very good and versatile bass instrument, I guess Keyscape will be the same.
This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here?

I have no doubt that they are working on RMX v2. Maybe we'll see something for NAMM 2017.ATS wrote:this really sucks they could of been working on stylus rmx this whole time
Uses Live 9 and lots of VSTs

The lady in this picture is not amused. She saw 'Collector's Keyboards' on the screen and bounced. And Eric is saying "hold on, I can explain".

Honestly I was thinking something really revolutionary smtn like you hum into a mic and it transforms it into synh sound. Something really really new. Like slate virtual mic system revolutionary..
Spectrasonics is awesome company . Stylus rmx is one of the best plugins imo. Old but still useful.
But keyboard / piano virtual instrument...
And 10 years..
April fools for sure

10 years ago maybe this was a good idea for a plugin, just too bad it took 10 years of development

Well, I REALLY hope there is more to this, because a 3+GB Rompler with keyboard sounds is like running Omnisphere with a VW Motor. My hope(!) is on Physical Modeling - but I'm pretty sure that won't happen.Incopation wrote:It's called Keyscape, according to Diego's Twitter

Though I get where this is coming from.
Omnisphere - super crazy synth engine (Trillian implementation)
Trillian - Bass (maybe more guitars in the future?)
StylusRMX - percussion (single hits, albeit VERY limited) and Loops (with no convert-back tool, somebody still has the Angular Momentum Riddm's REX2 files?)
Having a "bread and butter keyboard array" is actually filling a lot of gaps. Makes things normal again. And reminds me of layering the Roland MK-20 or Kurzweil K2000R / PC2R with other sounds. Though granted... we do have stuff like GSi's Key Performer for such a purpose... and budget romplers like Luxonix, Air Music Tech, Roland SC-88 (now as official release), etc... heck, i did keep my Yamaha MU-15 for this purpose (and it's various software ports)
Nya... dunno what to think of it. Will definitely cost about 299-399USD again... So I really, really hope there is MORE to it. Like... way more.... Else, this could have been an add-on for Omnisphere indeed.
And FFS, finally release RMX2(!) with native WAV loop loading/slicing.... it's been 6+ years at this point of radio silence in favor for Omnisphere 2.

Imagine something based on this idea but so advance you can hum simple beats into a mic and would create cool drum tracks from that and based on that drum rhythm create rhythmic patterns for non-percussive sound.. something that you can create whole real - sounding Instrumental by humming into a mic..ATS wrote:Elenesski wrote:That sounds like Izotope Iris 2.TS-12 wrote:you hum into a mic and it transforms it into synh sound.

Live 9's Audio to Midi for the beats? I'm pretty sure IRCAM have something too.TS-12 wrote:Imagine something based on this idea but so advance you can hum simple beats into a mic and would create cool drum tracks from that and based on that drum rhythm create rhythmic patterns for non-percussive sound.. something that you can create whole real - sounding Instrumental by humming into a mic..ATS wrote:Elenesski wrote:That sounds like Izotope Iris 2.TS-12 wrote:you hum into a mic and it transforms it into synh sound.
