It is hard to say because there is such a huge range of wirings that can be done in Bazille... and you can create arbitrary feedback loops which behave in complex and kinda chaotic ways.

But for mechanical stuff, I am generally making use of the ability to put Osc's into Hertz mode. An Osc can go as low as 0.01 Hertz. Then use another Osc that is set fast, and FM the first... or cross FM them... lots of interesting results to be found there.

Bazille is truly a unique synth. Nothing else like it in software. Here is another morning experiment I just was working on. The Sequencer is the only sound source!

I'll try to let go of my usual sound design habits, and start doing things I usually avoid when creating melodic sounds... (And yes, the sequencer is really cool!)

Yup!

Gotta let go of the usual ideas. When I first started using Bazille, I did the usual Osc -> Filter -> Env standard type of sound. Then I started saying, hmm, wonder what this will sound like, or this... I had no experience at that time with analog modular so stuff like lag generators, multiples, quantizer etc were a complete mystery. Now I miss the tools from Bazille in other synths cause they lead to different and rather organic results.

Experiment: Load -INIT-, connect the mod wheel output to phase modulation input of oscillator 1, set the PM mode to "rel course" and bring the modulation depth down to exactly -20 (minus twenty). Play notes and push the wheel...
