I will check it.Lesha wrote:Of course they are different, you can check out NastyDLA by Variety of Sound, it has both ping pong and cross FB modes.hyakken wrote:cross feedback and pingpong are different?
If you give me a detail of pingpong behavior, I will do that.

Great sounding delay, just wish there was an option for "locking" some of the parameters, like the D/W button and Dry Mute button. (I think it's a pain to have a Mute Dry button which doesn't stay muted when I change presets. Same goes for D/W)
Also, would love to see the "Randomise Parameters" function on the interface, maybe as a small "R" button. If one have decided to randomise one most likely will do so more than once in a row, opening the menu and select it each time is not optimal.
Besides that I really like this delay, been trying the demo for a couple of hours and are on my way to buy it right now.
Cheers.

So after that I will focus on parameter locking stuff.
Right now I don't have a good way to manage it.

Wow... so 8 delays in one from initially 6-in-1 (well, I'd count Simple/Stereo as one flavor, but still). That within 2 months of it's release, with more add-ons/mods in the works. Pity that it doesn't have a "saturation" module as well (VoS NastyDLA-II), to make the delay less... well... digital.
However - this delay will DEFINITELY stay on my radar at this price.

Now, that would really be great. I am still looking for a proper 64bit replacement for NastyDLA and that is one of the main reasons I am still using a 32bit DAW.Compyfox wrote:Pity that it doesn't have a "saturation" module as well (VoS NastyDLA-II), to make the delay less... well... digital.

You know there are ways to make 32 bit VSTs work on 64 bit DAWs, right ?Lesha wrote:Now, that would really be great. I routinely use VOS plugins on Reaper 64 bit.

Yes, I do, but I don't want to use any kind of wrapper.lolilol1975 wrote:You know there are ways to make 32 bit VSTs work on 64 bit DAWs, right ?Lesha wrote:Now, that would really be great. I was quite leary of the wrapper scenario too... but I finally did it 8mo ago and have had NEARLY zero issues with jbridge. and any issues that I've had, have NOT broken anything or crashed a set, etc...Lesha wrote:Yes, I do, but I don't want to use any kind of wrapper.lolilol1975 wrote:You know there are ways to make 32 bit VSTs work on 64 bit DAWs, right ?Lesha wrote:Now, that would really be great. jbridge (in my experience..) is quite transparent and easy to use. once the quick set up is done either by batch or individually...as needed, you get to the point where you pretty much forget which are 64bit native and which are bridged...YMMV, of course... but I CAN tell you that I have had SOOOOO many less issues on 64bit, it was well worth the effort.
BTW- for anyone on the fence about purchasing HY Delay2, Tadashi will continue to build on this one and he IS one of the most open developers out there today. If you have an idea- let him know. you are quite likely to see it implemented ;]

At this stage, I'm also interested in VST/VSTi ports of his M4L modules (since I'm on Cubase).
Mainly:
- TriGator (I've first seen this effect as Reason -> MuLab/MUX port)
- Grid Effect (could be a serious competitor to Sugar Bytes Effectrix/Artillery and dblue's Glitch2)
- Grid & Slice (interesting pattern rearranger)
- RPE (Drum Sequencer)
- SEQ16 (Sequencer)
Maybe even in that order

Fine with me, but I'm definitely interested in ports of these modules.
EDIT:
Just tested Delay v2. One feature that is IMO essential, or rather 2:
1) better fine tuning (it's in jumps of 7-12ms!)
2) inserting numeric values
Else, I'm really liking v2 so far

Maybe this will solve time turning issue.
