It's a homage, indeed.
It's certainly a VERY well written manual....
Thanks!

You really should write a manuel now as a homage

Hi @Urs ,

A friend on another website showed me this track as a Demo for your awesome Repro-1 synth and I was wondering where the Kick Drum came from in this track.

The kick is also from Repro-1, one of TUC's presets, I think it's a sequenced kick, but I switched the sequencer off.

Wait...

ONLY 37500 lines of code? Really? I would have expected way more (I suppose it probably is way more when you account for plugin framework and everything else that's not DSP?). :D

This is just the code written specific to Repro-1 in the past year. That makes it a hell of a lot for just plain VCOs, VCF, Envs and some FX. Oh yes, and sequencer and CV/Gate/Trigger logic.

Does not contain our plug-in framework and some re-used classes (FX Grid, Reverb)

Cool, thought so. :)

Yeah, it's still quite a lot, for sure. :D

Just a quick note to say - the VST3 (64 bit) version doesn't work too well in SONAR (64 bit, Win 10 x64).

- The VST window doesn't resize when I change Repro-1 from, say, 100% to 110%. You have to close the plugin, then re-open it.

more importantly
- It seemed to have "dead" notes for some patches. In other words "UH Grinding Away" didn't play on some "E" keys, but played on all other keys (including other E keys)

The VST2 version works fine though. (so that's what I'll stick with)

Today I made a song called "Bataranga".
All synth sounds are from the u-he Repro-1.
The drums are iDrum.

Here it is:

Hope you like it. Feedback is welcome. :-)

The melody/theme reminded me of that Klein & MBO's tune, Dirty Talk, when I first heard the demo track. That's a compliment btw :)
RePro-1 is a stunning synth, congrats Urs & team.
