Yes, haha. I was about to write to Lennard yesterday, because i tried to apply it for fun, and it never worked... then i had the glorious idea to read the announcement again, a bit more thoroughly this time.Philip_P wrote:Valid from December 21st...hivkorn wrote:the coupon for sylenth1 XMAS2016 don't work!

yeah we want to know how much the upgrade to dune 2 is and from what. Dune 1 is on sale for $59 and Dune 2 is discounted to $99.
No reason to get sylenth1 if you have serum right? besides cpu usage?

depends on what you need from your synths.systmu wrote:No reason to get sylenth1 if you have serum right? besides cpu usage?
sylenth1 is a more convincing analog synth imo, and you get 2 layers with 2 tuneable oscillators vs serum's 2 wavetables plus non-detuneable sub.
to me though, the problem for sylenth1 is The Legend, Repro-1 and Softube Modular have moved the game on in terms of just how convincing analog emulation can be.

Yeah, fighting with myself too, whether i should go for it or not. Rationally, there's really no need to, owning Spire and stuff. I think i'll rather pass on it. Really, other dev's simply upped the game, and it's really a tough decision, considering the limited feature set, and aged sound engine. New skins isn't really my main concern.

This isn't a new sale exactly, but Rapid is now available for OS X (they just announced it today), and they are running a 25% off sale until December 28th.

If you sell it, how much would you sell it for. Also, would you take a trade?Numanoid wrote:Maybe not, but these days I prefer lean and mean libs like Cassetto, that doesn't even take up 1GB of space on HDDATS wrote:you think that is big for a Kontakt library?Numanoid wrote:Even the 16 bit quality version of Ostinato is a 12GB download.![]()

Even better deal to buy the whole Air Complete bundle 3 = 10 plugs, 8 patch expansions and 28 effects for just $75dwozzle wrote:AIR Music Tech Vacuum Pro $15.99 @ JRR Shop Blowouts

If you don't already have it, that is the most insane no-brainer I've seen yet. Really great synth, stupid low just-do-it price.
Only need Xpand2 to be able to get that upgrade price at Plugin Boutique, and Xpand2 is free to get all over the place

the only place I know of selling the legend other than synapse audio direct is thomann.de where it's a bit cheaper @ €86 ($90) vs $99 direct :dwozzle wrote:Any deals around for The Legend or Repro-1?

repro-1 is $87.99 at audiodeluxe vs $88.11 at jrr's normal site using code FORUM (a tiny bit cheaper than via jrr blowouts site).

Some people dismiss it based on the age of the sample library and the give away price. Well from where I sit it is far from garbage and a very generous offer from a vendor who is hoping to generate further interest in their plugins.
Just to be clear, I hope that my comments earlier weren't taken as dismissive. I only passed on this at $110 for the collection because I don't use Orchestral libraries very much and AFAIK, it's derived from the same sample set as the Ableton packs. However, I did demo it and I did like it.
It's absolutely worth a buck. I'd by the woodwinds and brass at that price as well, LOL!

I'm considering getting the soundtoys 5 bundle. I have the freebies sie-q and tremolator, and it's giving me an upgrade to the bundle price of $259 from tremolator. I remember seeing a $222 straight purchase price for the bundle not long ago.
Does anyone know the cheapest plugin(s) I'd need to add to get to a lower upgrade price.
