Yes, haha. I was about to write to Lennard yesterday, because i tried to apply it for fun, and it never worked... then i had the glorious idea to read the announcement again, a bit more thoroughly this time.

yeah we want to know how much the upgrade to dune 2 is and from what. Dune 1 is on sale for $59 and Dune 2 is discounted to $99.

No reason to get sylenth1 if you have serum right? besides cpu usage?

depends on what you need from your synths.

sylenth1 is a more convincing analog synth imo, and you get 2 layers with 2 tuneable oscillators vs serum's 2 wavetables plus non-detuneable sub.

to me though, the problem for sylenth1 is The Legend, Repro-1 and Softube Modular have moved the game on in terms of just how convincing analog emulation can be.

Yeah, fighting with myself too, whether i should go for it or not. Rationally, there's really no need to, owning Spire and stuff. I think i'll rather pass on it. Really, other dev's simply upped the game, and it's really a tough decision, considering the limited feature set, and aged sound engine. New skins isn't really my main concern.

Maybe not, but these days I prefer lean and mean libs like Cassetto, that doesn't even take up 1GB of space on HDD

If you sell it, how much would you sell it for. Also, would you take a trade?

the only place I know of selling the legend other than synapse audio direct is thomann.de where it's a bit cheaper @ €86 ($90) vs $99 direct :

repro-1 is $87.99 at audiodeluxe vs $88.11 at jrr's normal site using code FORUM (a tiny bit cheaper than via jrr blowouts site).

I'm considering getting the soundtoys 5 bundle. I have the freebies sie-q and tremolator, and it's giving me an upgrade to the bundle price of $259 from tremolator. I remember seeing a $222 straight purchase price for the bundle not long ago.

Does anyone know the cheapest plugin(s) I'd need to add to get to a lower upgrade price.
