Why not Ableton Link?
Yes they need studio one style convert to audio (which they have as bounce) ad convert back to midi.bleepbot wrote:Is there a freeze function now?
My prediction is that they will release the beta to users after an official version 2.0 announcement this coming NAMM, which is only 6 days away.J-909 wrote:So nobody's actually tried it yet? I mean, do Bitwig 1.X owners have access to testing the beta already?
Maybe because of the name AbletonUplay wrote:ThomasHelzle wrote:

Could you test something for me?TristanMendoza wrote:The stability is also very impressive. I don't want to make any crazy claims for anyone else, but at least for ME, its been extremely stable. A couple bugs here and there, but for a closed alpha its impressive.
Ive been using it to write my second EP and Im almost done with it, and getting to work on the thirdNo project stopping hiccups or anything.
Yes, thats what the improvements are all about as I was told. I can't test this since I lack the external gear, but once the beta is here (I guess some time after NAMM) you should be able to try it yourself and give feedback on it.spinlud wrote:Is there any improvement in the native midi clock timing respect to the script one? I always experienced timing issues with midi clock and hardware devices in Bitwig, hopefully now is it working better?
Thanks for any share on this

You're right. It is typo. Python.ras.s wrote:mrfrenkie wrote: - Phyton support. Understand the potential but don't know how to use yet
Is that a typo and there's Python support? For doing what?
Sounds very promising, it's probably the most elegant scripting language out there.
Sounds very intriguing. What is it used for, as an alternative to Javascript for scripting controllers, programming the modular system, something entirely else?mrfrenkie wrote:You're right. As I said, I have no idea how to use it. I just saw it in list of changes for alpha 6. Most likely it is for the controller api. But I'll be extremely happy if we can use this for a workflow like in Cockos Reaperras.s wrote: Sounds very intriguing. And would you happen to know if it's possible to import Python modules? If that's the case then it's insanely extensible, no matter what it's used for.
