Assigning CCs to change tempo on Ableton Live

Hi everybody
On Ableton Live, I'd assigned a midi CC to the tempo expecting to work with its range of 127 values.
Min: 20
Max: 107
Mode: Absolute
The thing is that if I set the CC to 106, it gives me 106.31 bpm.
How I get rid of the extra two digits and obtain a plain 106.00?
Cheers

Probably because 20 to 107 scales different from whatever BPM range you set.
Like Fahrenheit to Celsius, 106 Fahrenheit is (around) 41.11 Celsius.
Try setting from 20 to 147.

Yeah, it was something so simple haha thanx pottering for the quick reply!
The thing now is find out a way to assign another CC to the same parameter (tempo) so I can set from 147 to 274.
Any ideas?

I don't think it is possible to assign 2 CCs to the same Live parameter.
If you set from 20 to 274 it will change the BPM by 2 each value, maybe it is usable?
You know you can use the Scenes name to set BPM/tempo?

That's exactly what I did. And also, added another CC to the .00 parameter. It gives a +2.56 value range, so with that is almost possible make any fine adjustment. I could prefer to have 2.54 or 1.27, but no Min or Max parameters for this one.
I hope that in a future update this can be changed, because that only one CC can be assigned to a parameter (it should be like the Macros thing), and not allow the user modify manually the MIDI maps, are the only limitations I have found on Live so far. On Samplitude, for example, it can be done editing a .cpsxml file with the Notepad2 for modify a "Learn Hardware Controller" assignment.
However, I found this M4L device that allow to assign several CC to the same parameter, Mapulator, but does not work with the 9 version of Live.
I'll check it out the link. Thanks for your help!

Other options for changing tempo are using automation, Dummy Clips (clips w/ automation or CC, but no Audio or notes) and ClyphX, a remote script system that allows a lot of automation and interesting stuff.

ClyphX seems very interesting.
Anyway, this CC method for control the tempo cover my needs so far.
Thanks again for share, man
