This is one of my first patches... I'm all about effect processing tricks, this is one that was inspired by a tutorial I saw somewhere (I can't remember where but If I do I'll edit this post)...

The trick goes, If you take 2 equal boost/cut eqs, and link them together, to cancel each other out... Then you place an effect in between them, say, a distortion for example... then you can actually "tune/eq" your effect in relation to your eq curve...

What it actually means in practice is (At least on my rendition)...

If you boost the eq gain it will reduce the inserted effect/s in that frequency ;)

It is actually a very useful technique, and can breathe new life into your plugins... And please don't feel limited to distortions... It has a very interesting effect on reverbs and Chorus plugins too :)

I have added a rack insert for convenience... Just insert an effect and tweak the eq parameters to hear some magic :)

Hope you all enjoy this one, feedback and tweaking welcome.

Cheers V.

Glad you like it... I still think it needs tweaking, like a wet/dry knob, but as I'm so new to MUX I'm still learning the best way to set things up.

Cheers :)
