"I'm not sure which retailer this is, but as far as I know we do not tell retailers that customers that own AD2 can buy the AD2: Custom to get more products. What we may have communicated in the past is that for a customer that owns AD1 they can get the AD2:Custom instead of getting the AD2 upgrade (but then their old AD1 kits will not be available in AD2). I totally understand that you, as an existing customer, also would like to purchase product bundles. I will definitely forward this to the guys in charge. You are not the only one who has requested this."
They have to give you that answer because it is their policy. But nowhere in the answer does it say that they tell retailers that they cannot sell it.

Sometimes it is better to act than to ask.

You can't buy it directly from XLN but if you purchase it from a reseller, it will allow you to register it. Just did that yesterday without any problems.

My experience with XLN Keys is that they give you the products but you don't get a second serial number for the one you already have. I had Studio Grand, bought the Grand/Upright bundle for less than the Upright would have cost. I still only have the 2 uses for the studio grand. Was hoping to get 4 computers out of it. It is always nice to have a piano on my non-music computer.

Do you have AD2 or AD1?

Though they have these 50% off sales at least twice a year if I miss it. I'm trying to decide if I should get it or just buy a few midi kits from XLN. I'm okay with the few kits I have, but I wouldn't mind more midi choices.

Thanks, Num.
My subscription is almost done. Got the full Heavyocity Aeon with it, so can't complain.

audington wrote:Uncle E - will you be offering the upgrade from Zynaptiq's Zap1 to Zap2 bundle?
We'll be putting them up tomorrow in 4 different versions:

ZAP 1 upgrade to ZAP 2 $399
ZAP 1 + 1 other Zynaptiq plugin upgrade to ZAP 2 $279
ZAP 1 + 2 other Zynaptiq plugins upgrade to ZAP 2 $199
ZAP 1 + 3 other Zynaptiq plugins upgrade to ZAP 2 $69
Devious deal. These plugins are just amazing. Sheer creativity.

What if we don't have ZAP, but have a couple plugins. In my case morph, and pitchman.

Is there a way to upgrade to ZAP II?

I had AD2 and simply added a second AD2 in the installer to get the AD/Midi/Kit packs that came with it.

Remember, you need to cancel it 3 months in advance of running out, otherwise they will bill you for another year

I'll refund you if it doesn't work.

It will work regardless of whether you own AD2 or AD1. If you own any expansions for AD1, you will need to buy the upgrade to have those expansions be compatible with AD2. However, if you only own AD1 and no expansions, you do not need to buy the upgrade.
