The new midi editor seems to be being glazed over by most folk, but it's loads better than the previous midi editor tools. Especially when used with the pattern generator. I couldn't go back to using T7 now, no chance. Bit busy to be posting a long comment, but Waveform is a fantastic step forward IMO

The prices in 2016, 2015, 2014, and 2013 were the same, ignoring the odd 5c. They were all "before this". I suppose "the same" could have been misconstrued.

Completely. You only provide the information that for a specific timeperiod 'before this' the upgrades were the same price. You failed to disambiguate whether that was a different price from 'this' or not.
Your phrasing 'the same for four years before this' does not even vaguely exclude 'this' from being the fifth year, hence disambiguation was required.

Anyway, Ive now done that bit for you, and clarified that the upgrade price used to be $30, not the $50 it is now. You're welcome, no further dscussion necessary.

FYI everyone, if you go to your "My Downloadable Products" section in Marketplace now you'll see Waveform only installer link (32 & 64-bit) just below the bundles.

Not me. All I see is downloads for all versions of Tracktion (no downloads for 1-3), the 3 Waveform upgrade bundles under "Featured Products", and my melodyne licence under "My Special Offers".

No, just wanted to demo. Guess I was looking in the wrong place? I found the direct link in another thread after posting this, but it's far from obvious where to find the slim demo installers on the website.

I have not yet purchased Waveform and just like mcnelson, I see no Waveform only installer links.

Either such links are only for actual purchasers of Waveform, or the personal Tracktion accounts for some of us have some improper information associated with them that is just throwing off the Tracktion website.

Thank you for sharing the direct URL to the "downloadable archive" page for Waveform. It had never occurred to me to try changing the version number present in the archived URLs of my own downloadable products from a 4, 5, 6, or 7 to an 8.

Apparently, there still currently is no direct link for everyone to navigate from their account page to the "downloadable archive" page for T8/Waveform (unless you are a purchaser of Waveform).
