Urs,
I'm not sure if you are saying Repro-5 isn't likely for ever being released, or likely for eventual release. Not sure why you would show it off if you don't ever release it.
Oh, sorry, i was ambiguous: A release *during* Superbooth is not likely. Meaning, the release itself is very likely, just at a later time. Too much stuff to clean up, and Repro-5 isn't even far enough to start preset design.

Urs,
Good to hear the release of Repro-5 is very likely. Is it too soon to say whether it is a separate product from Repro-1, or a free update for Repro-1 owners, or cost a bit extra for existing Repro-1 owners?

Thing is, I'm afraid to unveil our exact plans before it's finished, or at least until Repro-5 is at a point where we can post specs and screenshots. Otherwise we'd see more and more people buying Repro-1 today based on expectations that Repro-5 might not meet. After all, there is a reason Repro-1 is not polyphonic, and in order to get it there a lot of features had to be dropped. We're trying to compensate that with other features, but still... it isn't exactly the same synth.

Much more impatient about Zebra2.8 than Repro-5 TBH ;)
Just bought Z2 a couple of weeks ago, and am waiting for the new version to fully dive into it (and to print the manual ah! I guess I'm much more oldschool when it comes to reading than patching synths hehe).
Meanwhile, Bazille keeps me busy.

I think there are already people who bought with that expectation :D

maybe for users who bought first month to at the release to get plugin "upgrade" :)

Well, we figured out how to let people demo it first, before they get on board - for the same conditions as those who bought Repro-1 without knowing what they'd get. Only of course, latter have Repro-1 for a few months earlier and hopefully put it to good use! 8)

Urs,
It certainly would be nice if you had a Unison mode if Repro-5 becomes a product, especially if you can't have all of Repro-1's nice effects (OK, I see you answered that in another thread). Though I think Repro-5 should at least have a delay effect.

The only effect we're likely to drop/replace is JAWS. It's too CPU consuming for per-voice distortion and out of that is just plain noise. Lyrebird, ResQ, Drench and Sonic Conditioner will probably remain in Repro-5 as they are in Repro-1.

Off topic (sorry):

Would someone be so kind as to direct me toward the most active Bazille thread? (If there is one, that is.)

But if i understand that JAWS might come to Zebra 2.8. Or did i misunderstood that maybe then?

Post

Zebra 2.8 will get two wavefolders, yes. :)

Post

They're not exactly the same though. The Zebra one has a few more features but it doesn't have the built-in modulations.
