All the presets are here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ylt3fxjm1t6mp ... s.zip?dl=0

Could you try extracting them into ~/Library/Audio/Presets/Tracktion and let me know if that fixes the issue.

So, I bought the plug ins with the Waveform bundle and I am impressed with them, really like them. I just wanted to toss my .02 in, yes they are really worth it.

Hi FigBug !

I've downloaded the presets folder of the DAW Essentials at the url you indicate in your previous "reply" in this tread. And I unzip it...

When I put the presets folder in
internal HD > library > audio > presets > Tracktion >
(where all the other Tracktion presets are - BioTek and Collective -), I am still with no presets at all when I load an essential plugin in Waveform.

BUT...

When I drag-and-drop the respective downloaded presets folder in
me (user) > library > audio > presets > Tracktion >
(I had to create the Tracktion folder, because in this place it did not exist)...
YEEESS !! --> all the DAW essentials plugins have now access to factory presets !!

You solved my problem !

FigBug, Thank you very much !!!

One more problem solved.
And now, I go to the Tracktion website in order to download and install the new 8.0.25 Waveform version...

Thanks again !

draetheus wrote:Hey all! I have mentioned this before in some other threads, but I'm an Ableton Live convert. I relied very heavily on the built in FX that Live had, so I have never really explored free or paid FX plugins. Just wanted to gauge the community to see how good DAW essentials was. I have not yet purchased Waveform, so it would only be an extra $50 I believe.

Thanks!
I bought DAW Essentials for $99. And my favourites was: Compressor, Delay Studio, Equalizer and Reverber8. That's an acceptable $24.75 per unit. However, it is worth pointing out that I prefer the free TDR Kotelnikov over Compressor and the free Oril River over Reverber8. So we could probably argue about the actual worth of DAW Essentials in my case.
I would say that the free TDR Koletnikov Compressor and TDR Nova EQ are very good stuff. The updated free Oril River Reverb is nice.

Voxengo Span is a great free spectrum analyzer.

Don't forget to check out the free plugin bundles from Blue Cat Audio, which offers some good chorus, flanger, and phaser FX, and Melda, which has a bit of everything. Try these out and see what you still need. That's the beauty of plugins, you can add them as you need them.
Windows 10 and too many plugins
