KVR news shows that AriesVerb has the first new release in more than 6 years.
I remember being impressed by the demo way back when, wondering how it holds up against all the great reverb/delay/modulation effects released in the meanwhile.

Now that it's on Mac it's interesting but still too expensive for what is still early beta software with no guarantee of further development.

I did not see that coming
Didn't it cost more than 99 eur before? I remember being seriously impressed with the demo. Cut the price to 50 usd and I'd buy it.

didn't see the pricing info and can't recall what i paid for it all those years ago..
anyway.. glad it's 64bit now. will get back to using it in projects asap.

Damn that's one impressive verb.
110 bucks huh. Gonna play with it. I'd buy it for 70 just for the presets. But over 100? It's gotta do some work.

The price in dollars has been fluctuating heavily due to currency exchange. At one point it was as high as $169. At the moment it is almost at parity with the euro. The price in euro has always been €129, but is down to €99 as a re-introduction offer until the end of June. You *could* say this is a sale. The official announcement has yet to go out.

it's more than reverb though. can do a lot more. just roll through the presets and check it out. it's a unique plug in.. kinda quirky but has some great things going on. i'm glad it's gotten this update. hopefully this is a signal that the developer is going to be active with it.Armagibbon wrote:Damn that's one impressive verb.

I remember AriesVerb from when it was in Beta. Very much enjoyed it and still have the Beta on some projects. Would be interested in buying this sometime down the road, although the price point is a little high to entice me at the moment. (But that might just be me, and my overlarge glut of plugs I already have hoarded.
)
A well-behaved signature.

It's still in Beta. This is the first beta update in six years. The beta is now at version 0.7.7 God knows when the project actually began or when it will end. Were you ''away'' for a while Christian? Welcome home.

The GUI response to mouse clicks in the Mac Demo is quite slow or nonresponsive for me (10.
and changing the page (e.g. to Settings) results in white boxes, duplicate frames, and other GUI errors. This occurs in three stable hosts. These are common Carbon->Cocoa bugs. Anyone else notice similar Mac issues?

That would be news to me. Would you like to PM me your configuration and what hosts you were using etc so I can look into things.Michael L wrote:The GUI response to mouse clicks in the Mac Demo is quite slow or nonresponsive for me (10.and changing the page (e.g. to Settings) results in white boxes, duplicate frames, and other GUI errors. But... how is it possible that this reverb sounds that good... with such a low CPU usage... and it was right there all this time... and I didn't know about it ?... and it sounds soooooo goood....
