Thanks man. Say, as a dev, do you get free use of the other plugins from PA??thelizard wrote:No worries! The new manager is awesome and is pretty much the only way I manage my PA collection. It's easy to forget the old method after using it for a while. Have fun with the update!

Yep! After nearly two years, I'm still working my way through the collection. It's actually been quite the learning experience, as I haven't had a lot of exposure to the original mixing/mastering tools that many of the plugins are based on.simon.a.billington wrote:Thanks man. Sounds awesome indeed. As does their extensive plugin range. It would definitely take a while to hack your way through all of that.thelizard wrote:Yep! Had some fun trying Instant Delay and controlling it from a ROLI Lightpad Block, I've also did a quick mini-tutorial video about it, you'll find it here:
http://audionewsroom.net/2017/05/free-p ... he-fx.html
By the way, Blocks users get the plugin for free, not bad!

Does it do anything fun with a seaboard? I have one of those. Either way, when I downloaded the latest versions of all their stuff with the updated modulation, I want them to make everything. Instant Delay is great.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

Currently, no, it only connects to the Lightpad. We are planning on Seaboard integration when we do our first instruments. I actually met the ROLI team when I purchased a Seaboard through the KVR Charity Auction. It was all very serendipitous!Ah_Dziz wrote:Does it do anything fun with a seaboard? I have one of those. As an aside, if you have Max For Live, the RISE and Blocks packages are *excellent*. They were pretty much what sold me on the ROLI hardware. With that toolkit, you could take the Seaboard and create your own deep connections beyond MIDI note messages (i.e. each keywave is a CC), and that would work with any plugin.

I thought: Oh cool an advanced XY-pad-thingy .. Then i googled it: Bluetooth-latency: 30 ms Touch-to-Sound.Ah_Dziz wrote:What's crackin with spec ops betas?
I'll buy a Roli blocks pad to test it with.
Edit: Does it have midi-in/out over usb? ..Is it only for Ipads?
I made an advanced XY-pad with Bidule and KaossPad as controller.
Midi-learn XYZ on any VST..XYZ Macros with ranges..invert etc.
Now guess the latency..

They asked me to become beta-tester with NFR licences for all.thelizard wrote:Yep! After nearly two years, I'm still working my way through the collection. Bottom-line .. it was a pita.. I deactivated all NFR-stuff.
Unfiltered audio-stuff and some other, like Lindell-VST, work flawless.. There are still problems with CPU on others.
I thought.. i need ~2 years to work my way through it.
I rather wait for a 9 Euro-deal.
(Only UnfilteredAudio VST are worth the normal moneys!)

At first great thanks for the Sandman Pro update. It helped a lot concerning usability on my rather old machine.
But still your plugins especially Sandman Pro and Fault are CPU-hungry in comparison with other plugins
so I was wondering if and how much your plugins are oversampled internally...
At which rate does the modulation system work?
Host samplerate or lesser?
Focused on a "near realtime" jam-around setup based on Plogue Bidule
my thoughts and tests are circling around what host samplerate to use for acceptable but rather high-quality results.
To be honest I for example don't hear a real difference between 48 or 96 kHz when using your plugins with my "In-the-box" setup.
Although there already are various threads and discussions on sound-related net forums concerning samplerate use etc. I'd love to read some user comments on these questions and thoughts here, too.
Thanks again for your great work, these innovative and stimulating plugins...
Cheers,
tl.
