No. I talk about the waveforms themselves.wickfut wrote:ha ha , read manuals? how dare you!
are you talking about the morphing between sounds with the mod wheel, I discovered that when I tried the init preset and changed the sound and nothing happened:P
edit: damn shame Linplug has gone. I love all their stuff. Shame they didn't do the enlarge GUI function on a few of their synths though.
Linplug discontinued :( Back your stuff up.

+1, I went through similar phases of pondering this. I have some Linplug stuff, but it has been already discontinued before.zerocrossing wrote:I'm not saying that they're not worth it, but at $50 a pop, they're not really a no-brainer to me. Anyway, sad to seem them go, Linplug has been around for like forever, considering VST format lifespan.

I have literally been looking at buying Linplug stuff since they started. I don't know why I haven't. I have so many plugins and I've just never been pushed over the line. I was sure I must have bought something and just forgot, so I look through my emails and see a license request from a couple of years ago when I had the same thought! No, I didn't buy any.
Yeah. At $30 or less I'd probably buy them all. At $50 I would if I knew they'd keep working. I already have dozens of synths I don't use, should have bought the Linplug ones in the first place.I'm not saying that they're not worth it, but at $50 a pop, they're not really a no-brainer to me. Not when they might stop working when Live updates. At $10, I'd take a chance.

with plugins that get the job done for sounds you like.
honestly, there are so many plugins that still work perfect under
WINXP that cover so many sounds, there is NO need to
switch to win7, 8, 10, 50 or 100.... or Be an OSX user that

At the origin he had named his sax "Tubi LeSax". It is when Linplug took the production of "Tubi LeSax" that the instrument was hugely improved and that it was renamed "SaxLab".
At this time NuSofting was named DashSignature. It was years ago...
Luigi takes part also to the development of several instruments produced by SampleModeling with the SWAM engine (not the other products that they make for Kontakt)
It is Luigi again who made the first version of EVE (Electronic Vintage Ensemble) and also Mellotronix which are sold by Wusik.
And Luigi made yet many other things. And he keeps on being very active. He is twice a genius and a very active developer not only for him but also for other partners.
Thanks, Winny!
Indeed he's a genius. I still use both the updated Wusik version of EVE as well as the old Dash version! Great stuff

cheers, just bought it and then realised I could have tried the demo![]()
sounds like a more up to date Alpha with some effects and morphing. Not bad for 40 quid.
pretty sure it has nothing to do with alpha

Oh man, you're talking to the wrong guy. I just now updated to Mac OS 10.10, and I kept my 10.8 installation just in case. But I'm also slow, and there's things I've bought 5-10 years ago that I never used yet.live in the past, man. go with an OS that is not updated anymore

what are your opinions on MorphoX?
i just demo'ed it and the standout is the morphcontroller, but the synth itself doesnt sound soo OOmmmphh, for me, not very clear and bright + not much lowend. sounds not like a over 100 bucks plugin for me. and after Serum etc. the wave editing feels annoying

Difficult to tell more... I love it.
And yet I have many other synths (mainly VA but also a little bunch of modern ones). And within all my synths, it is one of my favorites because it has a very original signature in its sound that I don't find anywhere else. Even Alpha is totally different not only in its use but also in the character of the produced sounds. Really with MorphoX a have pure blasts.
Just using simply the oscillators, if you use all the features of the VCOs, their combinations of waveforms and their intermodulations you already have for hours and hours of discovering of incredible sounds before even beginning to use the filters.
I bought MorphoX not long ago... only one month ago. And during all the month of May I have used only it ! (except for the collective project I'm working on, of course)

Yes, you're right. Just, I want to point out that it is currently an opportunity to get something really nice (and recalling Avenger, yes) but for a very small price. And knowing that it is 64-bit, it will live again for years and years. And the license is only a serial key, it is also an argument when a company disappears...Caine123 wrote:thanks a lotBlackWinny wrote:I love it.Caine123 wrote:what are your opinions on MorphoX?

(except for the collective project I'm working on, of course)im still demoing it now and now i know which synth comes to my mind AVENGER, with the modulations made easy i think MorphoX would be not used with Avenger, cause Avenger has more possibilities and is even crazier with modulation. i remember Morphox from the past which was interesting because of the morphing but avenger is enough in this term for me i guess.
now on to demoin CrX4
So of course, there is always better (and I agree that Avenger is better in that niche) but Peter made really a wonderful synth in MorphoX and it is left for only 49$ now and all the bugs of the first versions have been definitively fixed. So it can be a good idea today for small wallets.

I could be interested in Morphox too, to round up my Lin Plug collection, but paying $50,00 for something we know will soon be buried for good seems a little too much. I have to think about it.
