here is a example video. 100% wet and without early reflections. for early refelctions transients should stay in. i only want show that transient is usefull in later reverb. i use the simple js transient shaper. source can see.MeldaProduction wrote:Beta should be out tomorrow. Transients? I don't think so, that seems a bit far too much. And you can always set it up before the plugin and then use it as send.
Algortithms that sound good?Obviously that depends on every person. But there are many, so just try
.
the more the transient is reduce, the more the snare at beginning come ahead the reverb tail. so it reduce not only volume. at end can not see in video when i increase volume in JS transient, to make louder. but you can hear, it still sound better with reduce transient.

I see now, there is 11.02 out, and no news i see it not on KVR. I notice dampening high do not work. but it is now very usefull too. I use a LR Unit with Line ConvoNoise(.2) to give in room feeling bigger. lowpass work and with lowpass 4498 Q0.4843 i get good and bigger room sound when this is mix together with other algorithms and another LR page.
convonoise make room larger when input signal is stereo. but on snare drums the reverb stay always in mid. is same as when use white noise convolution impulse in mmconvolution. is there a way to spread the signal over time so that it go from middle to more side in snare ?
EDIT: this can only hear when lowpass filter is switch off. or maybe it is possible its hearing problem of humans. when i use the low pass filter with above settings i have not the fealing that snares are in middle
I use LR1 for convoverb and the big length knob outside edit page is same as length inside edit. this is ok. But on LR2 the big knob do not change length. how can LR2 use too the same length value ?. usefull is too if LR1 can half of length. diffrent length reverb together sound good too.
I want copy some algorithm chars with ctrl+c or parts from other source lines. when do CTRL+v then reaper do a plugin copy.
only when i press the keyboard icon so input window open, then i can copy and paste lines

See, I told you!
Now you'll ask for more and more features and there's virtually endless possibilities with convolution, so sorry that won't happen. MXXX will save the day for you.
I have quite a trouble understanding the rest of your comments, please try to contact me via the contact form and try to describe what is the problem in more detail.

I not ask for more and more feature its known that high damp is important for reverb, so i thought this can work too with late reverb. a optional parameter in calculation(for convonoise i mean) is good too. BTW: i think best high damp for reverb is when it do at beginning more damp and then later less damp. mmconvolution is really great, that there can use damp curves. is this not usefull too on a algorithmic reverb ?. if there is such a Unit, then damping can work on convonoise too
BTW: I notice now that many reverb i do not like, because the early reflections go not in later reverb a little. some are switch to paralel and others are in input 0% prev 100% dry. i think all reverbs sound better when prev is set to 30% at least. in a real reverb, early reflections too have influence of late reverb

I know what you mean. The problem is, gazillion other things can be done then and I can already see the list of potential FRs saying "you made that dampening FR work, I want this too!". This is unfortunate classic. I feel like the more I made every FR people asked for, the more some haters scream when I don't want to add their feature. I can see the point behind the dampening, but no promises here. It's an algorithmic reverb after all, there shouldn't be any convolution in the first place

maybe you do vote what features you like to offer and user can vote, what they wish. and the more vote for a feature, the earlier it come. market research is important thing. melda software have most knobs and features, but some important all have is miss.
The later reverb i think sound not so good. often hear with piano, they are strange metalic sounding. white noise have the problem not.

Allow me to express my view here.
I have been following two years? already, posts made by magicmusic at a fellow KVR forum, Rapid Composer's (RC) one. So I might attest a few things:
First, Attila (RC's dev) has a surprising sense to be able to read and accurately interpret - at first try - magicmusic posts, written in his proto-english, whereas most always I fail my attempts. Have in mind magismusic has greatly improved in this lapse.
Secondly, magicmusic has maintained periodic posts, most times with unique and in-depth ideas. He has shown to be a systematic power user and his input has been implemented several times and are now part of the RC's 3.2 version.
Thirdly, I do have the impression that some of magicmusic ideas (in RC) are too specialized and ultimately would be utilized by a small group of users.
///The above said, I hope that he continues to participate here. Vojtech might have varying receptivity but responds (and possibly considers) most all messages and ideas, and together with Attila their collaborative communities could be considered exemplary for developers with an eye on the future.

thanks nspace. and to make it clear, i only offer my ideas and it depend on developer if he think it is usefull or not, and if more people like they can confirm. my english is not good, because i born 1965 and on this time, in school english was only few hours per week and only from 5-10 class. so i do often videos that show what i mean

Well, foreign languages are often hard, that's probably why many americans and french don't speaking anything else than their own language
. But for example I met a girl once, she was in Czech republic for like 6 months and spoke great czech! (plus english and stuff of course, but the thing is if complexity of english 10 points, then czech is like 100
)
Anyways I have the dampening in todo list, but it will certainly be very limited. And there's absolutely no intent for any more complex stuff (not even speaking about graphical interface) for the convonoise in MTurboReverb.

Oh thanks, the new 11.03 have deluxe damping features and transient. now its perfect i think, ultimate reverb. Lots can do more and sound very good.
are the randomize algorithms come from a list ?. if so, maybe a good sounding setting to show transient and convonoise in action, can be this line
S[Transient(-.7);ConvoNoise(-0.2;-1;-0.4;-1)]
