The Talos Principle is great. Played all the way through the base game but stopped halfway through the DLC as I was all Talosed out. The first puzzle in the tower was truly a thing of beauty - man, so simple yet it took me hours.thelizard wrote:I still play! as extensively as the Lizard, (used to be anyway).
Looking forward to the video...
-CheersThat being said, I just beat The Talos Principle, which I highly recommend.
100%ed The Witness recently, which I hugely recommend. It's "just line puzzles" on the surface, but the creativity that went into bending the mechanics and making every single one of those line puzzles feel fresh is remarkable.
Been enjoying all the Spec Ops videos. Loads of them are popping up from beta testers now. Some amazing sounds from all out destruction to subtle enhancement. This one is particularly lovely.

Empty Vessel killed it with that video! Soarer sent us a fantastic demo yesterday that will be posted soon. I'm so happy with the music that our testers have been sending us.
Yes, The Witness was quite possibly my favorite game of the last decade. I think the only game that I loved quite as much was Breath of the Wild. I'm a huge fan of abstract and logic puzzlers. Aside from The Witness and Talos, I got 100% on all of the Matthew Brown games (Hexcells, Squarecells, Crosscells), which I think are brilliant. I also really like the Zachtronics games (Spacechem, TIS-100... haven't played Infinifactory or Shenzhen I/O yet), although I think of those as more like games for programmers. This week I've been playing Slime Rancher in the evenings, with Path of Exile 3.0 on deck for the weekend hahah. I'm taking a break before I jump into the Talos DLC just so I don't burn out on it.

Man, I love Soarer's video. Awesome work.
How bad are the international shipping rates on your end? I'm seeing about $10 on the Printful website. If you're seeing something way higher, I'll double check the settings to make sure we didn't screw something up.
Sorry about that =/ We use a service in the US called Printful that prints the shirts on demand. The shirts are manufactured and printed in the US . It essentially removes all effort from our end aside from uploading the designs, but we literally make around 30-50 cents per shirt as we didn't really plan on selling many and didn't want prices to be crazy.thecontrolcentre wrote: Was gonna grab one until I saw the delivery price for the uk

The white one is the one I'd be interested in, black is just TOO HOT for this area (I live in Satan's pit)
Funny the white doesn't have the cool color pattern.
But one thing is troublesome for old fatties like me, slim fit. I think I'll have to pass. (unless the XL isn't like that)
Bummer, I want new tee's really bad.

Last time I went through the shop, shipping was $20 to the UK. I just tried the PayPal link instead, and the $20 shipping gets added at the checkout. Its too much imho.thelizard wrote:Man, I love Soarer's video. Awesome work.

A friend from NYC sent me some CDs as a gift. I got hit for £25 import duty plus 20% VAT. Its crazy.
Another time I bought a Hohner melodica from the US for $25 including postage. It was delivered by UK customs, who wanted £45 to hand it over (including a handling charge!!).
But anyway, a $20 charge for postage on a t-shirt seems excessive.

If there was any Import duty, then their total value must have exceeded 135$GBP.thecontrolcentre wrote:A friend from NYC sent me some CDs as a gift. I got hit for £25 import duty plus 20% VAT. Its crazy.

It was a box of 50 or so CDs, so the value might have been quite high. This was 10 years or so back. The thing is, it wasn't a purchase, it was a gift. First I knew of it was when customs arrived with a bill. I hate all that import duty bullshit.
Anyway, back OT
When is SpecOps coming out ffs
