Project5 was pretty cool. This was my favorite drum sampler "Velocity" from P5. Loved this thing. Very simple yet very powerful. Searched high and low for something similar for years. Poise was the closest thing. Still using Poise today. A lot of P5's other instruments, Fx and features made their way into Sonar.

I was pretty fond of Orion as well.

Music X on the Amiga is where I got my first experiences of sequencing. Not strictly a DAW I guess, but..... great days!

I know its not a DAW, but I miss Linplug Albino 3.
I only ever had a demo, and when I decided to buy it, it wasn't available anymore. Wish i'd got my act together and bought it sooner.
I pleaded, and was told predator was albino on steroids, but its a lot thinner sounding

I have a hunch we haven't seen the end of Acid. Though it may be a while till we see that name associated with a new product/version. Pure speculation mind you. The name alone seems to still resonate.

When Magix bought ACID, did they buy any of those old libraries? I haven't seen any of them on either the Sony or Magix sites.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

Yeah but unfortunately that code is so far behind the curve, I can't personally see it.inkwarp wrote:there is a very thin hope it might get some development now that Magix bought it from sony.. i would love to see it carried on.
