I was just wondering, when checking the website it says stuff in red about 'Any purchase made of 99 euros or more automatically qualifies for upgrade.
Does this mean if you have never bought t-racks but have bought say one of the processors for 99 euros you can get the t-racks 5 at upgrade price?

I did not see any upgrades on 14th - my fault.
Edited for correction.

The T-RackS 5 MAX upgrade from any IK product 99.99+ has been there since the announcement. And yes, it means if you have any IK product worth 99.99+ registered you can upgrade to T-RackS 5 MAX for 199.99.DarkStar wrote:Hmm, that's what I see here too.Elektronisch wrote:Do i see right? That must have been added in the last day or so, there were no upgrades on 14th.

@ Elektronisch: That's for T-RackS (4) MAX upgrade; so right now, it is more than the T-RackS 5 MAX upgrade. Mind you it's all too easy to mis-read T-RackS MAX upgrade and T-RackS 5 MAX upgrade; I know I did .
Oops, sorry, my mistake.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:The T-RackS 5 MAX upgrade from any IK product 99.99+ has been there since the announcement. And yes, it means if you have any IK product worth 99.99+ registered you can upgrade to T-RackS 5 MAX for 199.99.

Editing my own post:dwozzle wrote:Two questions, please excuse if these answers should have been clear to me from the proceeding novel
- What functional differences are there between v4 plugins after v5 is released, and the v5 versions of those same plugins?
- Same question, but assuming I only use them as plugins, not in the rack?
Thanks.

Please see the FAQ at http://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum/vie ... 13&t=14225dwozzle wrote:Editing my own post:dwozzle wrote:Two questions, please excuse if these answers should have been clear to me from the proceeding novel

v4 plugins remain as they are, v5 versions discussed in the FAQ entries quoted above. Are my T-RackS 4.x Singles and Classic, Deluxe, Grand, etc plugins updated in T-RackS 5?
Yes, Singles (and your current 4.x plugins from collections, or purchased a la carte, etc) will be able to take advantage of an updated UI appearance, better integration into modern DAWs, and resizable.
Will the audio quality improve in my T-RackS 4.x models?
No, but the new audiophile engine that includes higher sampling rates, new oversampling and dithering algorithms makes them sound just a touch more refined (where possible/applicable) in the new T-RackS 5 context (as T-RackS 5 Standalone processors, in the plugin suite or as single plugins in your DAW).
Will T-RackS 5 replace my loaded T-RackS 4 in DAW sessions/projects?
No, old sessions/projects will still look for and load T-RackS 4 plugins. T-RackS 5 can be used alongside or used to replace your T-RackS 4 plugins in your projects if you wish (and at your pace and discretion).
What happens to my T-RackS plug-ins when I purchase T-RackS 5?
You will still have those T-RackS plug-ins and Custom Shop available. All of your current projects will continue to load them. In addition you will have the T-RackS 5-equivalents of your plug-ins available, for use in T-RackS 5 standalone, the plug-in suite or as individual plug-ins.

You can find out what you qualify for in the new section of your IK User Area ("Crossgrade/Upgrade"). For a list of what you have and what you paid you can check "My Orders" there or you can see a list of gear you have in Custom Shop under Gear --> My Gearjjdejong0 wrote:Is there any way to see your purchhase history on the Custom Shop. like how much you spent on each plugin?

Wait a minute.
Ok , Peter, if one were to purchase the T Racks 5 Max upgrade, are they able to transfer the superfluous
processors individually (i.e. plugins they already own, plugins they have no use for, pick your poison)?

I see offers to upgrade to TRacks Grand or Max but don't see anything directly related to TR5 or am I wrong in looking for a TR5 upgrade deal ? No need to go Grand or Max since I already own most of them.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: You can find out what you qualify for in the new section of your IK User Area ("Crossgrade/Upgrade"). Anyway If I strip away all the "I already own this and that so what kind of deal do I qualify for" thinking and just look at the deal it becomes a no-brasiner for me. With Jam Points I believe it works out to about $70. So what do I get for that money ? Four all new plugins plus the new TR5 Shell features and the ability to knock the dinosaur off my old IK plugins. How could I resist ?
Oh and on the My Orders page I have seven entries (seems like it should be more) but only four of them are clickable links. The bottom three can not be opened to see what was purchased. Not sure if that's the way it's supposed to be but thought I wouldn't mention it.

I'm REALLY interested in how this update will improve CSR. This is my main reverb & I like it, but feel it's a bit outdated. The sound is great though. If it gives it more resolution, that would be dope. But in general all of the plugs with new resolution will be interesting to hear.
ALSO:
Be warned all of you would be upgraders & future buyers. T-Racks 5 is going to be 64 bit only.
