Here you go, have a listen. It's just a matrixed sketch right now and needs more stuff to become a fully fledged track but the organs and piano sound cool
I also really like the selection of drum kits built-in to Bitwig, I just wish there was a way to map my v-drum's midi output (easily) to them so I can play them on an electronic kit!

Great sketch! I like the attitude when that drum pattern kick in And the feedback-style guitar sound patch is awesome. I would look over the velocity values of the piano, though... to my ears it sounds a little too "hard-banged". I use to slap a velocity plug-in with ten to fifteen percent randomization to make sampler patches breath a little more. Besides that, you can also track automate the velocity plugin to make the general piano sequencing go lighter or heavier through different parts of the song.

That's actually a bit of a problem with the new piano instrument, when you go over a certain velocity suddenly the sample is a "hard-banged" sound. I think bitwig said they only had 3 samples per note, one is soft, one is normal, and the other is hard-banging.pboy wrote:Great sketch! I tried lowering the velocity but then it suddenly switches to "normal" which isn't banging enough for the accented note. You can check this for yourself by adding Grand Piano to a track, creating a note then dragging the velocity up and down while it plays, the transition is harsh.
Good idea on the velocity randomization though, I can use that with different instruments.
Oh and the feedback "guitar" is actually the new Philicorda instrument with one of its presets.
