Even the Neve EQ's Line/Mic/On/Eq/Phase switches can do with some work...

I had a crash in the stand-alone program tonight whilst resizing the metering window on Win7. I haven't tried to replicate it yet. First impressions after a quick 45-minute test tonight are very good.

The folders are there but no presets in it

win 7 64 bit, standalone and vst 2 version

Before someone asks: of course I have downloaded and installed from my account...
Did you ever find a solution to his problem? It's the same here, presets are in the proper locations but they don't show up in the drop down menu. :?

The only presets that show up are TLA Lead Male Vocal 1 and 2. If I copy one of those presets to another folder they will show up but none of the other presets in that folder will show.

You can see by the downward facing arrows the folders have been opened but nothing shows except the two under vocals:
TR5 110317-3.png
You can see here that the presets are in the folders:
TR5 110317-4.png
I downloaded and installed both the TR 5 and TR5-CS Preset files. Same result.

Was the 'white noise" in the Classic EQ fixed? Can anyone confirm that, please?

No :(

On the one hand glad you can confirm, on the other hand I really hope Peter could join in here and find a solution. I really dont like to open a support ticket for this if not necessary....

Sorry if I have missed something but usually I install IK products and just use them without worrying much about updates (lik my old T-Racks3).

So, could it be in 2017 and with this custom shop annoying there still is no possibility to check for updates inside T-Racks5 ? I have looked evrywhere where I suppose it could be (Infobutton, settings, my account). Mine shows 5.0.0.(J731), download says something about 5.0.0 B but I thought I have seen a 5.0.0.2 somewhere mentioned....

Sorry for my English... This is what I mean:

I have read that the Classic EQ is producing a white noise every 10 seconds. Is this true or only occurred in the demo version? Could someone confirm, please?

Weird. 50+ pages and not much discussion on how people feel the modules actually sound. I'm going to be running it through its paces but it would have been nice to read how it at least compares to what is already available. So many great releases recently with page after page of such comments, so this is strange to see so many posts on its appearance, troubleshooting, and requests.

For the most part many of these plugins have been around in different forms for awhile.
I think they are ok, but not great........I believe developers like dmgaudio, cytomic, uaudio, softube, plugin alliance, sound toys et al are miles ahead soundwise.
Ik is great at marketing and bang for buck.

My two cents.

Thanks so basically just improved oversampling rather than an overhaul. I've been basically using Acustica/DMG/Bx_Digital v3/Seventh Heaven Pro. I also have an Apollo but haven't purchased plugs in years and if I'm honest, while the plugs are good, I never found them to be far superior to Ik, PA, Soundtoys, Slate's FG-Stress (never liked anything else), KUSH. For example, Bx Console G/E were ok while UAD SSL is special just a resource hog so....pass. UAD 1176 blue stripe is great, Slate's 1176 blue not so much. UAD blackface 1176 LN is ok, IK 1176 is nice, etc. They were more laterally different than clear cut better. But your comments do give me perspective, much appreciated. I'm mostly interested in the metering, workflow, and the new compressor which I will compare with my UAD considering everything is pretty much the same.

I'm not opening a support ticket. We've reported the issue in detail with pictures so they can either address the issue or ignore the issue. But I might post at the IK forums so Jason Williams "Senior Technical Support" can tell us to open a ticket too.

Anyway there must be something amiss with the presets that don't show. Perhaps they were saved with a different version of TR5 or maybe it has something to do with the free version versus paid version of TR5. Not that big of a deal. I was just curious to check some of the Nick Davis and TLA presets. Oh well just another issue that should never have gotten past Beta.

EDIT: Posted at the IK Forums.

I guess he is busy spamming the forums. And if he wasn´t, he would probably just tell you to contact the IK support anyway...
