I would be totally satisfied if you did it with cuffed hands, naked on the roof top, on a raspi3. Any chance to see that within a reasonable time frame?colin@loomer wrote:With the technical wizardry I've employed doing this, I could probably code Aspect 2 blindfolded, underwater, on a ZX Spectrum.

Here's the video:
And it's playing this famous sequence:

my gut feeling is for some significant excitement for Black Friday
perhaps followed by disappointment and sadness on Maudlin Saturday

Oh - I thought Black Friday was today, so that does give me a (very busy) seven days to try for.

I think the biggest surprise for everybody on this thread will be the day when !Epoch will be actually released, will be called "John", will be an AI creating our music for us and even make coffee.colin@loomer wrote:Oh - I thought Black Friday was today, so that does give me a (very busy) seven days to try for.
"Hey John, what about some cool minimal riffs in G minor 7 and a slight dose of cinematic feel, then extending on that growing bigger over let's say 7 tracks towards a final big bang?"
"Right away Sir ... here you go - wanna jam along for some 'human touch (TM)' or should I release on Bandcamp already?"
"Oh, and the coffee is ready too."
Ah, the future is bright....
Cheers,
Tom

My worry is that it will be released soon, but it will take me another 5 years to understand it.

My worry is that times have changed, its so long past due that i mostly compose on an iPad now and if it isn't released for IOS then i have wsy less interest in it than just getting Sequent updated and on IOS.
The sort of stuff this is touted of doing is all pretty standard stuff on IOS.

I've noticed a few great looking algorithmic sequencers for ios lately but dont know how to incorporate that into my windows desktop in an easy way. I just wished the desktop pc sequencer market was a bit more innovative. here are some good things about, but I've not been able to find much in the way of midi vst that can plug in to my DAW and do things like node based cyclical graphsbungle wrote:My worry is that times have changed, its so long past due that i mostly compose on an iPad now and if it isn't released for IOS then i have wsy less interest in it than just getting Sequent updated and on IOS.
