When Fault will receive the update for OpenGL? (either disable it or make it working correctly on the GPU)

This was added in the 1.1 update, which is available at the bottom of the product page (https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... fault.html) or from the PA Installation Manager.xx JPRacer xx wrote:When Fault will receive the update for OpenGL? Ok, thanks. But in that case the PA Installation Manager is not working correctly. Just did a clean install and the version that got installed was 1.0. I just downloaded and installed the 1.1 version and it's working correctly.thelizard wrote:This was added in the 1.1 update, which is available at the bottom of the product page (https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... fault.html) or from the PA Installation Manager.xx JPRacer xx wrote:When Fault will receive the update for OpenGL? Do you think in the future we could have an OpenGL version that use the GPU? Is this a JUCE limitation?

I finally bought specops and fault, and decided to run them through a few tests.
Strangely I'm getting a massive amount of latency on Fault 1024 samples according to live.

Had a quick play last night really nice, uses double the CPU that SpectrumWorx does

It definitely can use a lot of CPU, but at lower FFT values it seems to do pretty good.VariKusBrainZ wrote:Had a quick play last night really nice, uses double the CPU that SpectrumWorx does

Gotta remember that different presets will react quite differently based on transient attack, spectrum and amplitude

Yes, its dependent on the FFT size you choose.V0RT3X wrote:Is this just me, or is the latency in fault actually this high?

Fault has a constant latency of 1024 samples. This is due to the pitch shifting engine.VariKusBrainZ wrote:Yes, its dependent on the FFT size you choose.V0RT3X wrote:Is this just me, or is the latency in fault actually this high?

My bad, I thought FFT size in all software changed the number of samples accordinglythelizard wrote:Fault has a constant latency of 1024 samples.
