Then probability for any slider x is Val(x)/SUM[val(a..e))] x 100, but if SUM = 0, then 100/(# of elements)
You could display it as small numbers close to each slider.
I will think about it.

In Studio One 3.5.4 x64/Win7: I'm trying to automate other VSTs like Serum with HySeqCollections LFO/MIDI CC. I am experiencing many DAW CTDs. Anyone?

Tadashi, can you consider implementing dampened random LFOs, with customizable values 0-100?

Hello,

I just released HY-RPE, block base grid sequencer.

Format : VST 32/64 bit for Win and Mac

Price : free / $38

Main features:

• 8 grid sequencer tracks
• 8 block chainer units
• multi-slider for step velocity, probability and trigger timing • mute/solo control
• snapshot per track
• resizable window
• preset manager

Free version:
• 3 grid sequencer track
• 3 block chainer units

What is CTDs?

about dampened LFO with customizable values
Sorry, I don't know what is dampened LFO.
Can you give me some more details?

HY-RPE, awesome new plugin for the rhythm side of life, thank you.

CTD: Crash to desktop. Very likely Studio One crashes if I send midi cc via your plugin. Not necessarily the fault of your plugin, I do not know yet. Maybe others have experience with using MIDI CC and Studio One.

As for dampened I mean, if we use random shaped LFO, allow for slow transitions between the LFO values instead of skipping.

You mean a smoothing or interpolation between the values

Like a variable slew limiter after an sample-and-hold LFO I reckon

My studio one demo is expired, so I can't test on S1.

about damped thing
There is a smooth setting with each modulation unit.
This will smooth output signal.
Is this enough?

ok, so applying lowpass filter to random values.

v1.0.0.2 of HY-RPE has registration issue.
Please use v1.0.0.4.

Hey Tadashi,

wish you all the best for the new year.

I have a suggestion for HY-RPE and to be honest, I was rather expecting the suggested behaviour.

In the sequencer we have the "?" for random order. Let's say it's 4 beats and I have defined 1 and 3 as hits.
"?": It may happen "1,3,3,2" or "3,1,2,2" or "2,2,2,2". Fully random. It's possible there is no hit or 4 hits. Just with different probabilities.

My suggestion:
I think the sequencer could also offer random permutations of 1,2,3,4 - so we can get the defined number of hits, just in different order.
Result then would be: "1,3,4,2" or "1,4,3,2" or "2,1,4,3"

You get the idea. If that would be possible per cell, it would be great. Maybe a "!" symbol...

This way there is still randomness, but more control over the rhythms density.

Best regards
Michael

I like the sound of that very much....
