Any views on that Audiomodern bundle (9 products for $29,99)?

That´s kind of a "if it inspires only one song, it´s worth it already"-price tag, but as I have been overspending ever since black friday... :dog: ...

I´d still like to know whether it´s worth it.

I don't know that I need an alphorn but I'm going to buy it because Sonokinetic is awesome.

And also because I have G.A.S.

It not only plays horn sounds, it makes hot chocolate too! Can Komplete do that?

I have waited 3 years for any discount deal on Sonokinetic Sultan Strings - I guess it's not going to happen this year either.

Well, there is one more day. But you're right, it will probably be one of their phrase things based on the prior year's sales patterns.

I once actually needed an Alphorn and did not have one. Now I have an Alphorn and probably won't need it anymore. :)

They also have upgrades on discount. Which is nice.
Very nice indeed! :tu: I wish every developer would do it like that.

While I do appreciate that there's a discount on the upgrade's it's not enough of a discount in my books. Unfortunately, I jumped on their Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals for the Multipass and kHs Toolbox deals ($149 for both) and the upgrade price to "The Works" is $66 for a total of $215.

If you compare it to JRR Shop's $152.15 for "The Works" bundle with the groupbuyauto discount, it becomes quite disappointing. If I would have waited a few weeks (JRR posted this deal early), I could have had "The Works" bundle for a few dollars more than what I paid a few weeks ago for Multipass and kHs Toolbox and saved ~$62 to get "The Works" bundle.

Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

I like the developer's libraries. This time of year I get one or two of them. They are unique. I think my utility brain cells are dead and taken over by the futility cells.

Have you ever used it? I have some of the other ethnic libraries and they collect space.

Sure, like I said, I bought one! My utility-brain has been able to keep desire-brain under control by letting him get away with that first purchase but then saying no to mega-bundle-creep.

Mega-bundle-creep is a GAS related disease where one plugin or library is probably a valid purchase but then your justification engine kicks in to convince you that to get maximum value you need to buy more. Eventually you conclude that only the everything bundle makes sense. Nothing less than that will yield the value that you deserve.

Heh. Story of my life. Well said.

And I call it GAS brain now. Utility brain needs to be the chosen default if I'm to stay solvent.

I'm fighting getting the Audiomodern bundle but come on. pay for one get 8 free uh no brainer guys lol! im always weary about stuff like this though I don't like using full loop stuff. of course I'll mess it up but still. oh and alphahorn is a no brainer at $5 of course :P
