That´s kind of a "if it inspires only one song, it´s worth it already"-price tag, but as I have been overspending ever since black friday...
I´d still like to know whether it´s worth it.
Compared to Komplete does it offer something more ?soundbylaura wrote:I don't know that I need an alphorn but I'm going to buy it because Sonokinetic is awesome.
And also because I have G.A.S.
It not only plays horn sounds, it makes hot chocolate too! Can Komplete do that?Boone777 wrote:Compared to Komplete does it offer something more ?soundbylaura wrote:I don't know that I need an alphorn but I'm going to buy it because Sonokinetic is awesome.

Well, there is one more day. But you're right, it will probably be one of their phrase things based on the prior year's sales patterns.szurcio wrote:I have waited 3 years for any discount deal on Sonokinetic Sultan Strings - I guess it's not going to happen this year either.
I once actually needed an Alphorn and did not have one. Now I have an Alphorn and probably won't need it anymore.soundbylaura wrote:I don't know that I need an alphorn but I'm going to buy it because Sonokinetic is awesome.

Very nice indeed!Gamma-UT wrote:Kilohearts is offering The Works bundle at $/€179 until 6 Jan.
They also have upgrades on discount. Which is nice.
While I do appreciate that there's a discount on the upgrade's it's not enough of a discount in my books. Unfortunately, I jumped on their Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals for the Multipass and kHs Toolbox deals ($149 for both) and the upgrade price to "The Works" is $66 for a total of $215.mgw38 wrote:

You missed it, i got sultan strings for €30 exactly a year ago.szurcio wrote:I have waited 3 years for any discount deal on Sonokinetic Sultan Strings - I guess it's not going to happen this year either.

Have you ever used it? I have some of the other ethnic libraries and they collect space.Kypresso wrote:You missed it, i got sultan strings for €30 exactly a year ago.szurcio wrote:I have waited 3 years for any discount deal on Sonokinetic Sultan Strings - I guess it's not going to happen this year either.
Sure, like I said, I bought one! My utility-brain has been able to keep desire-brain under control by letting him get away with that first purchase but then saying no to mega-bundle-creep.kitekrazy wrote:ghettosynth wrote:Fleer wrote:Chromatix
I like the developer's libraries. This time of year I get one or two of them. They are unique. I think my utility brain cells are dead and taken over by the futility cells.
Heh. Story of my life. Well said.Mega-bundle-creep is a GAS related disease where one plugin or library is probably a valid purchase but then your justification engine kicks in to convince you that to get maximum value you need to buy more. Eventually you conclude that only the everything bundle makes sense. Nothing less than that will yield the value that you deserve.
