Speaking of marketing, since I've been fielding some questions about this and it has to do with T-RackS 5, please note that Total Studio MAX which is discounted heavily currently in our Happy Holideals promotion does not contain T-RackS 5.

True, but no additional discounts for T Racks 5 Max owners, and no jam points.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Speaking of marketing, since I've been fielding some questions about this and it has to do with T-RackS 5, please note that Total Studio MAX which is discounted heavily currently in our Happy Holideals promotion does not contain T-RackS 5.
On a different note, any word on yet on an update to address the various graphics problems.

It was a very deep discount already and yes you were able to use JamPoints toward that very heavily-discounted price during the promotion.musicalwarmth812 wrote:True, but no additional discounts for T Racks 5 Max owners, and no jam points.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Speaking of marketing, since I've been fielding some questions about this and it has to do with T-RackS 5, please note that Total Studio MAX which is discounted heavily currently in our Happy Holideals promotion does not contain T-RackS 5.

Note that there are new signature presets from Dave Way available in your IK User Area.
Give your mixes word class sound with T-RackS 5 and now it’s easier than ever to get started with a collection of presets from an engineer and producer who has worked with everyone from Michael Jackson to Paul McCartney, the Foo Fighters and more.

It would be very nice if you could add few lines instructions:Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Note that there are new signature presets from Dave Way available in your IK User Area.

1) The preset folder path (full address)
2) Global or Module presets
3) Version needed
4) Is it full T-Racks 5 (CS) owners only
I notice, that the download includes a separate installer, which put the presets directly to the correct path. However, the above is good to know, anyway. Especially what comes to the usability of different version of the T-Racks /how the missing preset modules are shown, etc.

A1) You will not need the folder path for installation. It is fixed. Here it is:
F:\DarkStar\Documents\IK Multimedia\T-RackS 5\Presets\Global\Engineer Series\Dave Way
A2) Global
A3) 5.0.0 ? (that what I have loaded them in, here)
A4) Any edition - but these Engineer presets use a wide range of plug-ins; if you do not have them all you can try thr others using the Custom Shop, for 14 days. I have TR5 Max so do not know how "missing" FX are indicated.

Just want to say that your Namslamm promotion does not work. Everytime no matter if its 99 eu or more code is invalid
p.s. its sad that you cant use Jampoints during this promotion

Are you using it only on downloadable software? I just tried it and it appears to work (the coupon is applied automatically to qualifying orders)Elektronisch wrote:Just want to say that your Namslamm promotion does not work. Everytime no matter if its 99 eu or more code is invalid

Without downloading cause I wont get fooled again I am absolutely sure that none of the presets will work in T-Racks 5 basic, only in Max (or, of course, if you buy all the other modules needed separately....).4) Is it full T-Racks 5 (CS) owners only
None of the other signature presets worked only with T-Racks 5 basic version....
But they wont tell you cause thats the promo-trick about it, but as I said, I wont get fooled again....

You have the ability to easily demo the processors you may not have and then decide for yourself if you want those.

For the record, I tried it myself at least 5 times at different times throughout the promotion, and it never allowed jampoints, I even contacted support and never heard back.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:It was a very deep discount already and yes you were able to use JamPoints toward that very heavily-discounted price during the promotion.musicalwarmth812 wrote:True, but no additional discounts for T Racks 5 Max owners, and no jam points.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Speaking of marketing, since I've been fielding some questions about this and it has to do with T-RackS 5, please note that Total Studio MAX which is discounted heavily currently in our Happy Holideals promotion does not contain T-RackS 5.

Please let me know your ticket number. There must have been something odd going on because nearly all of the orders I saw during that period used JamPoints successfully. And on a separate note, that's a good sign that people do find JamPoints useful which I'm glad to see. But do let me know about your ticket and I'll have someone take a look.musicalwarmth812 wrote:For the record, I tried it myself at least 5 times at different times throughout the promotion, and it never allowed jampoints, I even contacted support and never heard back.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:It was a very deep discount already and yes you were able to use JamPoints toward that very heavily-discounted price during the promotion.musicalwarmth812 wrote:True, but no additional discounts for T Racks 5 Max owners, and no jam points.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Speaking of marketing, since I've been fielding some questions about this and it has to do with T-RackS 5, please note that Total Studio MAX which is discounted heavily currently in our Happy Holideals promotion does not contain T-RackS 5.

I have a question on the use of ARC within T-Racks 5. The documentation is silent on this point. I would hope that if one does an export when ARC is enabled that the exported audio is not affected by the ARC processing. But, as I said, the documentation does not say one way or the other.
Can anyone confirm that ARC will not affect an export? Or do you need to remember to turn ARC off when exporting, as is required in some DAWs?
